new IMM008 form - feb 2015

Just noticed that a new IMM 0008 form was released today!

CIC received my husband's outland application on 9th feb,and I used the NOV-2014 form.

Is this going to be a problem?
Will they return my file and ask me to re-fill it??

I don't want to wait 90days for an aor only to be told to re-do the app because they released a new form 16 days after they received my app.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Please help!

I filed my application on feb 14, 2015. I have attached the november 2015 form too. Don't worry I hope they don't ask for a new one. Just pray please CIC don't ask for any new forms or documents and forward our case fast to london or whereever the correct visa office is

I hope so! This has got me really worried...
If someone has submitted a form which got a new version soon after,please she's some light! Did they ask you to re-submit the new version?

I would submit the new form once you receive AOR and SA and you receive a file number. There is nothing to lose if you submit, if they request it, you have already sent it and it shouldn't delay the processing time. I would also do it just for peace of mind rather then keep on worrying about whether I need to send the form or not at the worst they disregard the form and process the November version of the form.

My application was received in Mississauga today morning (checked on Canada post). But when I am downloading the same form IMM0008 from CIC, at the bottom it was still written 2014 form. I hope they don't make it a reason for delay! They should set a notification when they update forms the way they do for new announcements.... Let's keep fingers crossed.

I am in the same situation. All requested documents were received last week, with imm0008 11/2014....wondering if they will now delay and ask for new one. I have emailed them, lets see what they say

No matter how hard I looked, the only difference I could see was the date at the very bottom of the form, needless to say
I redid the new one......

I just got my SA today
No updated form was asked me to send..bcs when I sent my pkg of documentation on the 25th of Nov with the Aug 2014 form there was the new form of 0008 IMM for Nov 2014 there for the change was minor and thank GOD they did not request the new one...Just in case Have the new one filled, signed and printed
