NEW GIC rules?

i have heard, that the amount which was previously deposit in Scotia bank i.e 10,000 CAD , is now increased , and we have to deposit 20,200 CAD in Scotia bank.. as our 1st year expenses?
Worried.... *censored word*ing... bad news..

Are you guys aware of this? do anyone know this? or its fake
