New Delhi (NDVO) 2017 - Spousal Sponsorship Outside Canada

Hi everyone,
Please help me to clear my doubts.
I am canadian citizen since 2011. My concern is, my husband is Indian national. He is staying in India. We got married in 2001 and register our marriage on the basis of muslim law in 2010. We are staying together in India at same address for last 7 years. We have three daughters all of them are canadians as well. My questions are.

1. Is it fully good for me if i sponser him from India while staying with him in India or
its better for me to go back and apply for him from Canada. Which option is better for us?

Guys - we sent an email to NDVO inquiring about the status of the file and ordered GCMS notes (both on 11/27) - have not heard back on either status. Interestingly, in the last few hours the "additional documents" column has changed to "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details." from "documents being reviewed". Any clue? - Thx

Hey Saj, I too applied for GCMS today, lets see.

Applied for GCMS notes before two days and status changed to 'We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details'. Not sure if its due to GCMS notes or if they need any other documents....

ok.. so seems like its related to GCMS notes itself.. At least happy to see some status change in GC Key after 4 long months
not sure how much more to wait for BGC to start.

Husband had interview on Tuesday

I got DM too but didn't send any email yet. Did they send you interview email at the same time when you got your DM? Or you waited for interview email?Mine status sayin DM since last week but have got any email.

Before on my gckey it stated: "Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam."
Today this status changed to: "Review of medical results - You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes."

Does anyone have any idea or thoughts as to what this change might mean???

Did you ever get a request to supply more documents after it changed to "additional docs required to process your file/case"? if it did - how long did it take?

Hi Seniors
November 4 they updated my wife`s application stating that "we have started processing your background check we will let you know if more docs are needed" till freakin present date no rely also got the message of re arrival services on the same date. Anyone in the same boat ??? still awaiting DM status update................

April 20 applicant aor2 received 19 june 2017 since than no solid updates

Hey guys!
I had emailed NDVO on Nov 3 regarding the status of my application. Nov 29 I got this reply,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi, India.

The application is pending a review by an officer, at this time no action is required on your part. Our office will be in touch with you with the next step in processing once the review has been completed.

Then today I got a reply again from them(Did not send an email again), its a bit different.

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi, India.

This application is under final review by an officer. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly.

What does this mean? The first says pending, the next says under final review. My GC key hasn't changed to background in progress neither has ecas shown any other change. Or have they just replied back twice without checking?

April applicant and few from march whose bcg started in october are also waiting for dm.
