guys i m permanent resident of canada . i apply for my wife in MAY2016. i want to know total procss time . 12 month . or its 18 month ??????

If you as a sponser living in Canada , time is 12 month and if the person who is sponsoring lives in india with his/her spouse time is 18 months

Now this is taking my nerves off..

Like my mother in law is in canada and father in law is working person, so he's not available at home (according to his shift timing.. morning/afternoon) and I'm staying at my parental plc.. so it conclude to be absent house all day..

What if they arrive and found no1..?

Applied in July.
Sponsor approval September 5th.
Letter got from NDVO saying they got my file is January first week 2017.
Medical passed January third week.
And all other status shows not started.
Suddly this visit happened.

I dont think they will go and visit each applicant.. but yes there is a possibility to ask your neighbor something in your absence...Not sure because this is very rare when they do personal visit

hey m new here m 18th august applicant and hear nothing until now.My timeline app filed:18 aug AOR1:23sept AOR2:4 oct and my ecas shows only two lines received application on 18 august and startd processing on 4oct
after that there is nothg updated not even medical which is expiring on 12th march 2017. IS it normal that medicals are not updated yet

Make sure you send the receipt to Canada immigration email address as well and make sure to mention your application details like application number, UCI number and other details without fail.
