From what I read and understand - Counterfoil is passport. Please have your MP check again - sounds like PPR was sent. Could have been sent by regular mail or email, check all your folders and do send a CSE to NDVO with a query. Usually PPR, they give a 30 days deadline for reciept. Sounds like your Visa (COPR) will be valid for entry till March 2017 for entry into Canada linked to the expiry of your medical a most likely.

thanks skitz...but mp said ppr has not been made yet but file is approved...i just got notes last night and it mentioned counterfoil in documents seciton with valid till date and no of entries which sounds like visa..i am so confuse

Get your MP to check again and show him the line in your notes. Like I said, you usually have 30 days to submit PPR - best be safe and make him ask the PPR question again. From the last time he queried, things may have changed. Sometimes they send via post instead of email so hope your postal address with them is correct. Check that on ECAS and your notes.

ya man, tell MP that 60 days have passed since DM. Usually thats the last step so whats the holdup. After you order notes you found that counterfoil(VISA sticker) has been issued till march, which is when your medical expires but you havent received PPR request. Mp can get the answers.

I am may 13th applicant. I applied my wife's TRV on 21 st sep online. we got passport request today. just wanna share with you guys.

15 Jan applicant here with no updates from NDVO since my husbands application arrived there 21 March. Just yesterday he received an email asking for medical. (He had already done medical initially and it passed, but is close to expiring so I am thinking it's because of soon to expire? But the wording didn't mention that his medical was expiring. Instead it said his application reached the point where medical is required. So I am confused. Does this mean they are now working in his file finally? Or is this some sort of automated thing when previous medical is about to expire? And if it's for expiry why doesn't it mention anything about previous medical and that it's about to expire? It sounds in wording more like an initial request. Will an applicant receive e this email even if they have not worked on the file at all? I am wondering if it means his file has now been finally started in New Delhi?
