One of my friends received SA today and his file got forwarded to Mississauga.

His wife has never been out of India. Maybe, this is part of reducing backlog.

according to news CIC website on backlog reduction ,New applications will not be considered part of backlog reduction .

Does changing Canadian address online causes any delays to your file?

I have moved to new address. Just wondering should I wait or change the new address.

Called CIC today and got to know that we got SA on 14th june. So on 50th day I have recieved SA. Did not receive email or letter on SA. Cic agent has raised request to forward the same to our address. Ecas on PA side still shows App Received.

Was looking at 2015 spreadsheet. A lot of july 2015 have started getting updates. It would be interesting to see how they do when they start processing August 2015 files since a lot of applicants from august to Feb 2016 or early march 2016 have already heard from cic during April and early May. Assuming the processing will be faster from there on..

In my case inquiry, MP office told me that NDVO didnt start process on my application yet, but when i asked it shows on ecas status that they started process on my application on 8th of April, so MP office clarified that when any regional consulate receive anyone's application they put this similar status, it doesnt mean they are working on it. It is really chaos how NDVO can randomly proceeded applications instead of serial wise, i really dont understand NDVO's working pattern.
Now waiting for GCMO notes if that can provide some information which makes sense for me.

Visa Office......: Ndvo
App. Filed.......: February 16, 2016
Nomination.....: Sponsor approval 18 March 2016
AOR 2 Received.: in process on 14 April 2016
File Transfer...: started processing 8 April 2016
Med's Request: Up front on 8 February 2016
