My husband did his remedical November 4 and we are still waiting. Are you from Afghanistan (seems like it from your name) if yes then it will take longer for security check. We are stuck at security check because it takes longer to get information from war torn countries. The VO told us it could take up to 6 months after

NOthing to worry. I attended the interview on 8th Dec 2016. It was very simple and straight forward. I was asked bring marriage photos which i had saved in my phone. I was not allowed to take the phone inside. However the officer said no need during interview. Type of questions depends on what specific documents they have asked you to bring along for the interview.

I am hoping to receive passport request from New Delhi office soon ! (Fingers crossed!)
Pl advise me on how to send passport for visa stamping to New Delhi office if I am living outside India. To my knowledge we are not supposed to send indian passport via courier and courier companies do not accept as well. Any suggestions / ideas most welcome as I want to avoid one trip.
