I have applied for temporary residence visa.
1. Any idea how many months of stay is usually granted on visitor visa?
My PR application is already under process. In cover letter we have asked for 1 months.
2. Do we need to book return ticket while boarding from India.

Please advise.

I applied with return tickets, but still they refused. My wife is even full time employed in bangalore

I am june 10 2015 applicant.. ADR may 25 2016.. remed on Aug 3 2016... went to MP today he told me.... my eligibility background everything is in process.. does anyone have any idea whats going on..on my file.. please help..its just freaking me out alot.. thanks

Hello all,

Congrats to all who got re medicals,Decision made and PPR requests.As for my file Eligibility still under review and background and security check sill not started.Went for MP inquiry they told me it will take 3 weeks to hear from them.They also told the reason people who applied recently are getting PR so the overall processing time will come down (BS).

No idea man. My wife also did her remedicals received on Aug 02, done on Aug 5. Eligibility in In Progress since last 4 months. Background still Not Started. ADR was on April 15, 2016. Don't know how long is it still going to take.

Hii everyone my wife may 27 applicant did her remedical June 24 today she got call from ndvo around 2:30 in India and they ask for remedical oh kihne k tusi remedical ni send kita jo k expire hoyia a my wife said k asi ta 2month pihla remedical kra ke send kita a then they ask for UCI no my wife give her UCI no and they said they find in system and he said don't call on this number we will contect to u for next process

They got my remedical they said my wife they find in system yesterday my remedical in review in progress but after today GCKEY link shows my remedical pass

i have same situation like you
in my gcms notes they said interview recommended
but after 20 days of generation of gcms notes i did mp enquiry and he said everything is ok and clear they will send you remedical
for that i have to wait

in my account my status is like

status open
eligibility in progress
medica l not required at this time
interview not required at this time
background not started
final decsion not started

i dont know what is going on
