*Still working on Applicant's eligibility.
*Background check not started yet.
*19 months process time, file will be cleared by December.
*Will do another inquiry in future if required.

Did you get any re-medical request ? I am also 8 May 2015 applicant. I am also waiting for some miracle

I think its time to go to see the MP now, file in process since April 2015

we share the same time lines (applied on April 23 2015) but my husband hasn't gotten his re-medical yet and was asked for additional documents.

hey peeps i m thinking to apply for TRV for my husband ... its been over 14 months now and haven't heared anything back ,,, but my husband does not work ..... what do you guys think and what they look for ,,, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I think there is nothing to loose in trying for TRV may be applying for TRV may make them open your file and work on it.

I have applied 4 times and rejected, I have applied 5th time and still waiting for their response.

Believe me everytime you apply for TRV they have to look at your PR application and figure out at what stage it is and make their decision.

The last time I applied for TRV they requested an ADR otherwise I dont think otherwise they would have touched my file.

I already send separate email to PM and Immigration Minister and I got answer from PMO and nothing from Immigration Minister. I got below answer from PMO and it looks like they are not going to do anything

to intervene personally with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada regarding the case you describe.

the Honourable John McCallum, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and
Citizenship, for his information.

While I know you will be disappointed by this response, I hope that you
can understand the reasons for this policy.

I can understand the response from PMO.

Imo, the problem is John McCallum and his department. The asshat is on record multiple times saying "spouse sponsorship times are long and unacceptable". He says that once a month. Did once again this past week. But he got elected last September and there has been no real improvement in processing times.

Current applicants are already suffering and it hasn't made a difference to them, and future applicants don't tune in right now to listen what he has to say. So I am not sure which group exactly is he preaching to.

Now, he has delayed expedition of application to fall. How about postpone it to Sept 2019 instead. What a crook!

I recommend applying on paper if you applied online last time. Put more pictures and proof on paper file and they will give you TRV. I got rejected first time when I applied online because I did not knew how to put more pictures. After that I applied on paper and provided them all the proofs and got VISA.

If you are applying online provide them more pictures. Reduce their size and make 1 file of all the pictures as a proof of marriage.

Give them itinerary or air ticket with return flight so that they know you are coming back within the applied TRV period. Show more funds in account so that they know you can afford them here. Give them a copy of your lease so that they know you have apt or home.

Birthday or anniversary are great occasions to visit and also tell them you want to spend time with your spouse.

Bottom line is, it does not to hurt to apply TRV again and again. It shows you guys wants to live together. If you meet all requirement of TRV, you will get Visa.

Hi guys Need your outlook on my case...
Called mp in May 17 and they told me my husband will be getting his remed soon. He got his remed on June 1st but he received it from Citizenship and immigration canada, he did not recieve it from dehli Immigration is that okay?
Any difference?
He did his remed on June 26 so hopefully I can hear something soon....
Anyone else received their medical from Citizenship and immigration canada?

8 May applicant here. That's rough that they have not yet started background check !! I did Mp inquiry on July 8th and got response that my assessment was completed on 25th April itself but except for my criminality check, as they asked ADR to submit PCC of a different state where i resided for 4 years !! And now they re-opened my file on July 6th and I can expect to hear from them by August 25.
