Congrats! How did He get the medical request mail, email, telephone? And when did His medical expire?

Congratulations! Don't worry, in the PPR email, they do give you an option to send your passport to Ottawa if you're currently in Canada. You do not need to inform anyone that you're doing so, simply send it to Ottawa. Instructions on how to send will be in the email. My wife did the same.

You can change your address and phone number online. When you go on ECAS click on change the mailing address link and it will take you to another page and you can fill out the form to change the address/phone number.

But if you have received everything thru email in the past then don't worry, you will get it in email and so address/phone number doesn't matter.

case specific enquiry is used to communicate with visa office, its a web form that you cna fill all details, send a questions or attach documents, requst for address changes etc.. Visa offices prefer case specific enquiries for communication.

i used this instead of direct email and attached my medical receipt and also wrote in the text field that this is to update them my wife has completed medicals so they can update the file on their side.

I want to discuss sumthing , I got remecl request on 20th April and done with medial on 3rd may . I m in Canada . As every1 now in letter they mention we need to send the report to New Delhi but when I ask my dr he said they cnt send that report to Delhi directly so they will send my report to Ottawa Thn they ll forword that to Delhi .. Now it's almost 1 month I have not heard anything even no new line is added no change in status .. So wat should I do now ???

They normally don't update ECAS. And it can take anywhere between 1 month to 1.5 months after re-medical to get PPR. Have patience it will come soon.

yes it is normal. I am april 30 applicant and my criminality might not have been started.

Luckily, your notes are 30 days old and hopefully they are almost finished your criminality/background checks.

My wife finally received her COPR and Passport from Ottawa today. Ottawa took 3 weeks to stamp and send her passport back. Planning to do flag-poling at rainbow bridge over this weekend. ;D ;D ;D

Hello,

I received my Passport Request last week. For the stamping, I have to be in either Canada for atleast 3 months or be in India and send it from there.

However, I'm in USA on a work visa which is expiring on June 12, 2016. I have applied for an extension which is under processing. So, I cannot travel in the meantime.

Additionally, I have to submit the passport before June 24, 2016. Is there a way out of this? Would appreciate if anyone can shed some light.
