Just hang in that Ksk! The last update I received before this was was in July.. My file actually never went "in process". I was scared the might have lost my file. But thankfully it seems that they do have it.

One of my friend received Remedical request she applied after me . I am so stressed now . She applied may 15th and got request today . I hope they didnt forget about our file

Hello All,

Just received second Notes. Applied on 28th March and got it today it was very quick within 15 days. Nothing was started. But i ordered this notes to check that i did case specific inquiry after my 1st notes. Through my 1st notes, i found that they didn't write my wife's email in contact details so i did case specific inquiry and requested to add my email id. So now they added my email id in my wife's contact details. So now all emails will come to me. My wife's medical is already expired and was mentioned in the 2nd notes. Remaining things are same. I am hoping medical request within 2 weeks. Best of luck to everyone. JSK & JSN

Thanks,
Vishal

[/quoteHang in there. It's just because officer assigned to her application is moving fast, lucky her. But your and mine officer may be stuck with complicated files. Each application ia pre assigned an officer. They do not select a file from a pile one by one. That is what i understand from GCMS notes. That offficer handles your file in india will remain same from the begining to the end. And even interview by him or her. Same goes in canada.

anybody tell me how i update my wife email on her file?

But why you want to update? In our file, they didn't write my wife's email that's why i did case specific inquiry to add my email id in my wife's contact details.

You are wrong
1) my interview is waived
2) criminality/background everything passed
3) they have email on file
But still waiting for remedical from 2 months

Ridiculous!!!! Why don't they just send you your PPR, everything is passed! Stupid people. Hang tight you are almost there. Hopefully they come to their sense!

then do case specific inquiry(NDVO) and explain why you want to add her email id. they will not give you any confirmation. only auto generate email you will get it for your case specific inquiry.

Hi Nabaaf,

Thanks for your quick response.

- I think my wife will be here before end of May. My birthday is in Mid-may and she wants to be here for it. I'm hoping that there is no interview request.
- Remeds: Since she is an Indian citizen, she likely wont have an Alberta health card. So will a cic physician still take her to get the remeds done? I dont think the remed application is too expensive and I am ready to pay for it.
- PPR request: Wont it be the NDVO office that asks for her passport? I am surprised that she can send it to Ottawa. Remember, she did an outbound application.

Its interesting, a person could apply from India for Spousal sponsorship, get the SOA approved and then apply for visit visa, and stay in Canada and get the passport request and send to Ottawa. Lol.
Hello Vizzynuts
Remeds is not expensive in Canada ....it cost somewhr same to indian charges...so u can do it in Canada ....
Regarding ppr ...surely ndvo will ask fr it but they gv option to submit it at ottawa ,in addition to this u dont need to leave canda to complete landing procedure n hv option of doing it via US border...so it is all the more icing on the cake.......u can read previous pages of this forum to get idea regarding the same....
And yes surely i knw that ur application is outland.....almost everyone here has applied fr outland spousal visa.....
touchwood...I would tell u that u r one of the lucky one to get visitor visa as there r equally rejected visitor visa cases who r going thru emotional n mental stress during this long procedure staying away frm their loved ones due to silly visit visa rejection reasons...so be thankful to god fr the same n i am sure u r ....as u ppl dint face much of hardship during this procedure uptil now so it might be a smooth tunnel fr u...i am happy fr u as atleast someone is happy during this process.....keep forum updated...

God bless u....wish u a speedy visa fr ur spouse....

Cheers :)

Nabaaf

Does anyone knows what do we get along with the passport when we get the visa? Do they also provide landing papers or instructions on how to attain them. Please respond if anyone knows
