This is quite strange and the first time I am coming across this. Usually you are allowed to do medicals from other parts of world/ outside of India. Many have done their medicals from here in canada

May be other users will have more input on this but I believe you can try sending an email to DELHI.MCREASSESSMENT@international.gc.ca , copy-delhi high commission email on it ''

Also call up CIC and try opening a case specicic inquire

Yes I also did it for my wife in Canada, the panel physician did not check if the file was open or not. They simply followed the instructions and then sent the results to email id provided.

I applied online TRV for my wife on March 25. April 1st, i got Additional document request(Marriage photos). I did submitted the document On apr 2nd itself. But after that there is no progress.

How long they will take to process the Online application? can i apply notes? How to apply notes for visitor visa?

Hello Everyone, my husband is May 14th application we received re-medical request last week so my husband went for his medical but the Panel Physician said that they cannot proceed with the medical yet because immigration officer haven't opened the medical file in the system yet.

As my husband did his first medical from India and but he is working in some other county. He went to different Panel Physician this time in that country for reassessment and they says that the file is not open yet in the system.

Does the first medical and reassessment have to be from the same Panel Physician both times? Even if the person is currently out of country working somewhere else on a work permit?

Is there anyone with similar situation as us there can suggest something?

Also is there any way we can contact Delhi immigration to find out about this situation? How do we contact them and will there be any problem if we try to contact them?

You should call CIC right away and they will start a communication internally for this. They have ability to do this.

Ok here what you have to do, lot of emedical visa service outside India they don't know the actual process of re assessment. All you have to do is take the email you get from NDVO (re assessment) and show to the panel physicians and insist to send all the results as per the instruction thru email to NDVO.

No need to be worried. Anywhere between 1 month to 2 months after re-medical to get PPR/DM.

Please suggest me about below mentioned requirement from embassy.



The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for yourself:

Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
Duly completed Re-assessment Form (Attached herewith)

My medical expire on april 15
