my application is in process from march 13 2015 and sponsorship approved by may 13 then applied for visiting visa and got it ,now i am in canada in visitor status .but still it is showing my application is in process.....do any one had similar experience plz reply....it is heard that as am in visiting visa in canada sometimes it may cause delay in getting pr is it true...

yaaa...but i m tensed because i cant work, no medical benefits ,,full of stess because my visiting visa is expired nd i applied for extension it will take 4 months to get a decision on that...till that i can stay here legally with out any status...its really frustating....

Got my passport bck with shiney visa on 3rd wrking day of NDVO....yesterday....gave it on friday...n got bck on tuesday afternoon.

Saw this in CIC website today..seems like our applications may have a chance to get processed out of India..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did processing times information change?

Prior to December 31, 2015, processing times for many of our services were displayed by visa office. This was useful when applications for permanent or temporary residence were always processed by the nearest visa office. However, we now have the ability to move applications around our global network to ensure they are processed as efficiently as possible. This means your application may not be processed at the office closest to where you live.

For many services, instead of asking about your nearest visa office, you are now asked for your country of residence. This provides you with a more accurate processing time. For other services, you may see a single processing time, no matter where you live. This is our commitment to process applications within that time. These processing times are updated on a weekly basis.

I don't think this changes anything for applications already being processed at NDVO. It just means that future applications MAY be processed elsewhere. But I think it would only happen in extreme cases, like when Islamabad applicants were waiting upwards of 36 months.

Still did not get PPR... it is worrying me now

It can take up to 2 weeks, don't worry. At least got DM...we applied back in September 2014, still waiting.

Hello I m also March 13 applicant and same situation.. Hope we all get goo news soon. I had a question when u came to Canada on visiter visa. Did u booked return ticket? If yes then did immigration officer asked about ticket? Please need ur valuable suggestion. Thank u

Hey guys good news for April applicants...

One of my family friend got remedical request on Feb 16th and they are April 7th Applicant.
Please share if anyone else received remedical, DM or PPR and those are April applicant.

I got my ppt at home. I gave house address at vfs offc wen i gave my passporr for stamping

U have to fill urs and ur sponsor's details with pen after u get it printed.
Nothing else....print the email and fill the details with pen
