What I think you can do is send them these docs in advance to avoid the delay. Just a thought!

I am working on the sponsorship application of my wife who is in India. I have a question to the senior members whose applications are processed at NDVO.
Have you guys submitted support letters from your family members or friends, stating the genuineness of your relationship, along with your application? Although it is not required, but does it add some value to the application?

N my PCC was done in feb only ...not sure abt date...but later wen i applied for TRV ....i did it again....
But they hv nt asked for PCC....jst the chest x-ray.

1. When I access ECAS with my UCI number ( I am a naturalized citizen from year 2000), application number or fee payment receipt number ,

under sponsorship , I have two lines - received in sept 2015, started processing in Nov 1st week

under pr application , I see three lines - received in Sept 2015, started processing in Dec 1st week , medical results received.

2. When I access ECAS for my wife with the fee payment receipt number or application number , under PR application there is a fourth line , "we sent correspondence regarding receipt on December 10th 2015"
In this page, my wife's home address, does not say "Kerala" . But it ends in Cochin , XXXXXX zip code. The state is missing. If they sent the AOR by postal letter, it should get to the right place as the zip is correct.

3. We went through the application, email id is correct. The state name Kerala, has been entered in the "district" field. I guess I need to correct it.

Okay. Under Sponsorship Application status, do you see 'Decision Made'? I'm sorry I've forgotten what you had written in your previous post about whether you've received SA or not.. I think you had mentioned that you have.
Also, I hope the ECAS is mentioning specific dates rather than November 1st week or December 1st week.
You're right if the pin code is correct, the letter should have reached the address even if the word Kerala is missing. Anyways Cochin is a well known city and anyone who works for Indian Post should know that it's in Kerala.
The Generic Application Form IMM 0008 mentions that if you provide an email address in it then you authorise that all correspondence should be sent to the email address. I'm unable to understand why these guys decided to send your spouse a postal letter instead of an email.

I have just sent a case specific request to New Delhi requesting addition of "Kerala" as state.

By the way , do most people get AOR2 by post or email ?

Most applicants get it by email. Although my husband, who is my sponsor, received the AOR 1 by post. So not sure how they decide whom to send an email and whom to send a postal mail.

We did our on the 26th of November (re-med request on 24th) and got PPR on January 11th. For us it was around 1.5 months from the day we did our re-med.

Any idea why it took so long?

I received email for ADR this morning.

- Post marriage / outing photos showing you and your sponsor together, alone.
- additional / updated evidence of post marriage communication between you and your sponsor.

I'm worried about the same thing for my case too. But hey atleast you know they're looking at your file now.

No I didn't do it, although it doesnt seem like a bad idea. Maybe some applicant who did can shed more light on this.

Yeah. I was going to do that but senior member told me not to do because it could raise a flag. I went back to india to visit my wife in oct during our anniversary. It might be too late now since I am march 13 applicant. So I might wait for another couple of weeks and see if i get any update.

Yeah they usually advice against sending additional proof unless asked for. But ya when you're almost at the end of the wait and they ask for additional documents then its bound to become frustrating. I hope you hear from them soon and straight away get a remedical / passport request. It'll bring me a lot of hope.

No,dont do the remedical fr urself....according to ur timeline ur meds will expire on 28 th jan so wait fr remed request...surely u vil get update frm ndvo prior or 1-1.5month later ....if you do meds now so it wont be called as remed and u hv to do complete medical and then forward the emedical receipt to ndvo thru case specific enquiry n email.... its better to wait fr request from ndvo so they may jus ask fr chest x ray or some other test n not complete medical....have patience...good luck
