Hi guys, wanted to inform a good news. Got PPR today. Iam a 2015 applicant.
Please find below my timeline

Applied on - 9 jan 2015
Aor1 - march 17 2015
Aor2 - april 15 2015
In process- oct 9 2015
DM - nov 20 2015
PPR - nov 23 2015.

Medical was done in april 2015 for trv. ( date not sure)

could you please share your inputs to better elaborate our case.
was your case routine/non-routine?
sponsor is Canadian citizen/PR?
any travel history for sponsor/PA?
any other ideas if you could share with us.

Thank you all.
Regarding my file, it was straight forward, first marriage. Typical arranged marriage and I had travel history to just two countries that too for short Vacations. My husband did the documentation work so am not sure what all documents he provided.
But as usual around 20 marriage pics, call and chat logs etc along with the other proofs.

First of all many congrats ..hope we all get updates soon . was curious abt upfront meds ..when did u do it ? Did u get any mail frm ndvo prior to DM

Actually I did my first upfront medical in nov 2014. At that time we were unaware of the e-medical form which the hospital was supposed to give.
So in the application we just provided the hospital bill. Then later in April when we applied for trv they asked for medical reports.
So again i did all the medical tests and came to know they didn't get the results of first medical.

We sent the medical results separately quoting the file number and when the status changed to DM i got the line added medical received in ecas.

Thanks PGU. But I can see that the file number is a mandatory field while applying for notes. UCI will be optional to enter.

Hi, go talk to your MP, ask him to call CIC and get the file number, what CIC is saying to you for file number? Even drop an email to new Immigration Minister Office explaining your situation.

How much time they gave you to submit Passport ? Like "Submit your Passport along with the copy of this email before .................." ?

If the medicals expire, should you proactively resubmit fresh medicals before they even ask for the New Medical request. Any advice?

Hi, no wait until you will get a request from NDVO/CIC. You can't go for re-medicals on your own as Dr. will refuse to do it without re-medical letter.

i will suggest to do it on your own as it may save 1-2 months or even more . There had been one case in recent 2014 who did medical on his own and got PPR & DM without re-medical request . Remember to send the scanned email to case specific and also original copy to NVDO with a cover letter.

Hi, physician can't load the results to the CIC site until unless he is getting the re-medical request
