I've applied on Nov 10th. Still waiting on decision. I got rejected once in July. So, i am not really hopeful. Rest in gods hand.

Basically they checked everything.
Purpose and period of travel, finances, travel history. Ties to Canada & India. Didn't believe she would return back.

My husband applied for my PR in the month of March and the application was misplaced. So we never got any AOR/ SA, so we decided to meet the MP and they informed us to re-apply. So we again re-applied in August 2015 and till now we have not received any AOR/ SA. I am very unhappy with the process and thinking of applying for PR via express entry.

Please provide your inputs on this.

Hi, what is ur tracking number showing? On which date your application is delivered to CIC? It is impossible that CIC will misplace any application? What your tracking information?

Hi Pgu,

The tracking number shows that the courier was delivered to CIC on March 23rd 2015 and again when applied in August it shows it was delivered to CIC on August 21st 2015. Even I don't know how this happened. And I am really worried this time

It`s highly impossible to misplaced by CIC. Bcos misplaced repeatedly.
If u send by Canada Post - CIC address is
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6
If u send by courier - CIC address will be different.
So check out address.

Even I agree with you that it cant be misplaced repeatedly that too even after having a letter from the MP as well. But how come I have not received any updates. I can see most of them have got their SA who have applied in August 2015. And its been a long time too.

Well yes, it is the same address and it is posted via Canada post only. Sorry about the typo.

Congratulations for your SA. I have been following this forum and I did see many of them have got their SA also but not sure whats happening here. So I wanted to check with any of you if you have any suggestions.

AOR-1 is normally 30-40 days for file received at CIC M'ssauga. (Sponsor will get UCI#)
AOR-2 is normally 60-70 days from file received at CIC M'ssauga. AOR-2 is from VO and you can expect that after file transfer to VO.(Principal Applicant will get UCI#)

Sometimes, you don't get AOR1 and you will directly get SA. But after 30-40 days you can check your status on ECAS using Sponsor's UCI# from the landing paper the sponsor used to land in Canada.

How can you send the package via Normal Canada Post to the PO Box number and expect a tracking number?

If you sent your package through Express Envelope (Canada post) which has a tracking number, then you should have used the following address:
2 Robert Speck Pkwy,
Mississauga

This is the address that the courier/Express envelope is received.

Also, if you originally landed as a PR then you must have your UCI# (check your landing paper). You can check ECAS to see if your file is received or not by now.
