NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

I am March 2015 applicant. I have few queries.
I am on a visit visa(multiple entry) in Canada, which is going to expire next month.
Since, there is no hope of hearing back from NDVO anytime sooner, I am planning to apply for visa extension.
So, below are my two queries and would be happy to get some advice.

- My medicals will expire in January 2016 (This was done upfront for PR application). So, do i need to re-do the medicals before I apply for an extension now.

- Since i would be staying for more than 6 months in Canada now, do i need to update my PR application with a PCC from Canada.

Any 2015 applicant applied for notes? I am March 2015 applicant. I am wondering when should we apply for notes? I would just like to know if interview is waived or not. Thanks guys!

Right now they are working on eligibility for Dec. Jan. applicants. So even if you order notes, they might not have started your eligibility (which tells if interview req. or not).

I have ordered my notes (just for fun) last week to see if all basic info is correct or not. Hopefully will receive them by Mid Dec.

Hi Guys,

After sending the application, how do you all track the status of application, e.g when did they receive and started processing, sponsor approval, file sent to NDVO etc.

I am about to send the application package in a week and wondering if anyone can provide a link/pointer to keep a check on application status.

After approx. 35 days of CIC-Mississauga receiving your application, you should be able to check the application status on ECAS with the sponsor's UCI#. You can find the UCI# on your landing paper when you came as a PR (if you are not citizen by birth).

Thanks Pgu. But my question mainly was if it was a generic pattern they follow when sending AOR2 emails to all the applicants. For some reason , I thought not everybody got the same PCC if not submitted and RPRF if not paid details in AOR2 emails. However , I got the answer now after some research.

I applied for Family sponsorsihp in January 2015 in Missisauga and my file transfered to Delhi in April 2015...

So, my question is...whether i am a Jan Applicant or April Applicant ??? soo confusing

I am a newbie here and have 2 questions:

What is the current processing time at NDVO for spousal/Family class visa: Have any 2015 applicants received call from NDVO for interviews / submission of passport yet?

While the family class visa is being processed, Can I invite my wife over to Canada on a tourist visa for some time? Will the TRV application impede the spousal visa in any way?

Here are my application details:

Sponsorship approval AOR1: Jun 2015
File transfer AOR 2: Aug 10, 2015
Medical received
Interview: Waiting
Visa: waiting
Landing: Waiting

The current timelines as per CIC is 17 months for New Delhi. NDVO is still working on 2014 applicants so for 2015 applicants still we have to wait for 1-2 more months.
Yes, you an apply for TRV for your wife. You have to show her strong binding to India ( job, property etc) as well as enough cash to support herself during her stay.

Yes it is mentioned as Sponsorship : Passed but my question is decision letter regarding medicals was not received from CIC either to me or to my husband in the month of June but they mentioned that they already sent it.

Though I sent the e-medical sheet when i applied(April) they did not start check my medicals yet

So im confused what exactly going on.. I could see applicants mentioned in the forum who applied after april has the third line in e-cas status

on DM CIC is marking for medicals.

You already applied notes? what was in that? also you already emailed NDVO your medical receipt via case specific enquiry. so they have your data. on eCAS sometimes they dont update.

Even I requested to update my address 2 months back and on eCas my address is still old, but I checked with NDVO and they replied me that in files address is updated.

So relax.

you are Jan applicant ....they consider the date when file is reaches in Mississauga. IF you check 2014 page you will find that applicants of Oct-Nov got pr who's files were reached in jan or Feb to Delhi.

It takes 2 mths I.e 60+ days to get ur sponsorship approval n then u ll get the file transfer to ndvo where on receipt u get acknowledgement of receipt ( aor 2) from there according to CIC , it takes Max of 17 mths to get ur pr . so ur waiting game just started

DEC 31 applicant have interview on phone from NDVO.
We hope 2014 application may finished by Nov2015.
