You are the second one. It has been trend now they NDVO will pick up few files even 3-4 months ahead of other files. Maybe they do categorize the files based on how simple the case or some other reason like they want to clear few percentage under 7 months or so.
Sir g...who is d first one yaar

Does anyone know if there's a way to confirm if NDVO actually received your file? My ECAS says they started processing my app on August 21, 2015 but nothing about any correspondence sent to me like most people on here seem to have. I also checked with my wife and there was indeed no correspondence from NDVO. Vizzy got his file transferred in 3 days, so I'm tryina figure out where mine went.

AOR2 takes anywhere from two weeks to a month or more so I wouldnt worry about it and if you are seeing IP you can be certain it was received and it is in queue to be processed. Its currently taking an avg 8-9 months from the time the file is received in NDVO

I am having the same issue. File recevd on 2nd july and as per CIC website they are working on July 03 file. On ecas no update and no email from them regarding File transfer. I tried calling CIC on Thursday and fri but I was getting the message that due to high volume of calls they cant transfer my call to an agent. I am going to call again on Tuesday

I believe CIC opens applications and begins processing them in the order that they are received...but I assume they open more than one at a time and then subsequently, multiple applications are processed at the same time....which means they could be finished at different times, depending on how easy / difficult it is to check all of the information provided (as well as background checks) for each one?

So then if group with same timeline as you is getting In Process then you think I will too soon?

unfortunately, it seems that the "in process" status is being applied inconsistently....so it's difficult to say...
