hi Nabaaf and others,

My wife did her full medical today and we submitted the results via Case specific enquiry to new delhi office. we also got an automated reponse of email acceptance.
Doctor office will take 1 week to send the results.

so now the wait begins for PPr

Should I apply for GCMS notes now or till have to wait?
My spouse is there in Edmonton and She wants to wait for few more days.

Hi Guys,

Need your urgent help!

I'm June'15 applicant.
My passport is expiring on 6th Dec'16, which means I need to get it renewed after 6th June'16.

I earlier asked for address change in my passport to my current address (inlaws home) process on this forum. Now I have 2 questions:

1. Can I get my last name changed to my husbands last name in this renewed passport ??
2. Will it effect my application in process as I have my application for CIC running with my maiden last name (last name before marriage; as on my passport currently )
3. How to update CIC of the same?
4. Will my Visa be stamped with my name in application or my new changed passport's name ??

So I can say in short that I'm renewing my old passport with address of my inlaws(address after marriage) , changing my last name and adding my spouse name in the spouse name column . Will these 3 have an impact on my application as the same is in process with my maiden name.

first of all i want to say that itz only my personal beleive
that u have to renew ur passport with same ur home adress or same old name this results in no delay in application
but if u done any changes than u have to inform ndvo which results in delay in application

if u have keen intrest in changing the name or address which is ur inlaw address u can change it afterward also
option of having updation in passport is alwayz there

Good Morning Everyone,

Did anyone from following dates got any update from NDVO?

1st June 2015
2nd June 2015
3rd June 2015
4th June 2015

FYI:

I am a 4th June 2015 applicant whose file NDVO started processing from 10th Aug 2015. We did receive re-med request on 11th May 2016 & completed it on 13th May 2016 & panel physician submitted it on 19th May. Just as a precaution we sent an email to NDVO updating them on our actions regarding the re-meds.

Best of luck everyone on their spousal sponsor application and I pray that everyone receives a good news sooner than later.

Ds is realy frustratn is been one year still waitng 25th April medical done 25th June applicant AOR 31st august File transferred to Delhi office on sep 10

Guys don't waste ua money by applying tourist visa..I have applied fr tourst visa in feb but they have rejected by giving reason dat u vl not come back aftr 6 months

Guys I see a pattern in the sponsorship process correct me if I am wrong:

In the 11th month of the sponsorship process which happens to be around medical expiry date, you get some feedback from NDVO e.g. re-medical. And this is usually followed by DM and etc. around the 12th month. For example July applicants can expect feedback from NDVO in June in a majority of the cases.

What do you guys think?

case specific enquiry is used to communicate with visa office, its a web form that you cna fill all details, send a questions or attach documents, requst for address changes etc.. Visa offices prefer case specific enquiries for communication.

i used this instead of direct email and attached my medical receipt and also wrote in the text field that this is to update them my wife has completed medicals so they can update the file on their side.

Can anyone who recently got their stamped passport back (preferably may applicants) share the expiry date of the visa issued. Just want to get an idea of how much time is generally given to reach Canada.

You cannot apply from India. If you are a PR, you must be in Canada to apply.

The below statement is from the Sponsor guide
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900ETOC.asp
In order to sponsor, you must...
live in Canada or provide evidence, if you are a Canadian citizen living outside of Canada, that you will live in Canada once the person you are sponsoring becomes a permanent resident.

Hello,

I requested my wife to check with the hospital and they told her that they submitted our report on 19th May. Reason i did this because there is no confirmation email sent to us by NDVO or concerned department on we sending them our re-medical report.
