You can most certainly apply for the visit visa. The main point being she will have to prove she has enough ties in India so that she will come back after the "visit". The ties are usually work, assets and family ties etc..

Can you please tell in what steps the application process takes place. On the forum of 2014 you can see few cases of 27 oct 2014 got IP.....

Any from 2015 jan feb or march got IP

I am 6th July 2015 applicant. I am one of those guys who got IP under Applicant. Actually I havent received my SA or AOR2 yet (both sponsor and sponsored has IP) but this morning I saw under Applicant and they added second line. Now it says we started processing your application on September 13th.. so the question is .. is it normal? I thought under new system they were marking every new application as in process. I was taking it lightly that I got IP for applicant but 2nd line added so that means they have actually started processing? Has anyone else got the same thing?

its really tough question I don't really know its new trend or we are just lucky ;D ;D because most of June applicant got IP when file transferred to visa offices. so, I guess they are just following this new trend. So its not actual IP which it used to be. :-\ :-\

After looking your post I checked my ecas and they added an extra line for me as well which were not there until Friday. they have started processing application on sep12/2105.
