Does the ppr request get sent thru email or mail? I've received everything via email so far but for this I haven't yet.

Hi guys.

This is the timeline for my wife.

Application submitted on april 28/2015
In process oct 9th/2015
Med expired March 3/2016
Remed request April 29/2016
Remed completed May 3rd/2016

Doctor's office has provided acknowledgement that we have to submit to the NDVO. Does it sound right? Aren't they supposed to submit the report to NDVO ?

You can contact your MP's office and they may be able to tell you if the PPR request was mailed or not.

The thing is that i received other aor letters in email,would it come in the email.but delhi immigrtion they never send me its always the lawyer who gets it?

Here's my scenario:

1) On April 16, my spouse's status was changed to Decision Made.
2) I contacted MP's office as we didn't get an email or a letter for passport request.
3) I received an email from MP's office indicating that the file was approved and the letter for passport request was sent out on April 15th.
4) The email also states that there is a time-frame within which the passport (and photos) must be sent otherwise we risk administrative closure of the file.
5) We haven't yet received the letter.

My question:
1) What do we do?
2) I have entertained the idea of just sending in the passport and the photos (without waiting for the letter to reach my spouse) as the letter would be pretty generic. What are your thoughts on this? (Note: I am not going to do this as I am afraid of losing the passport in mail which would lead to much bigger trouble, but what are your thoughts on this?)

1. Did you MP mentioned it was a letter and not email? There is a chance that the letter is lost in the post. How did you receive AOR2, in letter or email? If in letter, was it addressed to Indian address or Canadian address? If it was Canadian address, then the PPR might be taking time in the post. If it was Indian address then you must contact your MP again. Ask him to contact NDVO and request for sending the PPR again since you did not receive the first one.
You yourself should do a case specific inquiry and also send an email to NDVO with the issue. Since it is already more than 15 days that the PPR was sent to you, there is little time left for you to send the passport, failing which, like your MP mentioned, there is a risk that they will close your file.
2. VFS will not accept the passport without PPR letter. You must have the letter to submit your passport.

I still haven't received ppr. I got dm about a month ago

You should contact your MP and ask him to check with NDVO. Generally PPR is not delayed by that much from DM. There is a possibility that PPR is lost. There is a time limit to send the passport after PPR, failing which there is risk that NDVO might close your file. See the post from the member 'pharmcanada' above. Same case as yours. Check with your MP soon.

Congratulations to everyone.... getting remed. reqst, dm, ppr ......but we all look forward to hearing from visa office ......hopefullyyyyyyy it'll be soon......

What the hell they are doing. Why they are taking so long after remedical. What these officers are doing from last one year if they still have to do some checks on our files. They screwed our life

22nd April applicant here and got remedical done on 4th April 2016, any April applicants still waiting after remedical ? It looks like they have moved on to May applicants now.

Any of the May applicants received re-medical this week??..How many are still waiting for it?
