God..they have also touched Nov files..but not completing april and May files

My wife received the passport request today. E-cas chnaged to DM on April 29,2016.I have question for the people who got the PPR w/o remidical request.

Is the visa issued is till the expiry date of the medical or 6 months.I would appreciate if someone can answer my query.

I married my wife when she was 17 years old and it was with full parental consent and arranged marriage. She is now 18 years old and according to Cic I am able to sponsor her. The question is,, is this marriage valid and legal? The current law(my country law) states girl need to be 18 to marry. but since it was arranged and with parental consent what do you guys have to say about it? thanks

In my opinion, since the law in your country states that the girl should be 18 to get married and your wife was only 17, your marriage is not legal. Doesn’t matter if it was with parent’s consent, the law doesn’t allow it.

On a second thought, your marriage may be valid. It depends on the exact law of your wife's country.
I was reading one of the marriage laws in India which although says the female should be of 18 years, but still has the provision of the marriage being valid even if she is below 18.
Which country is your wife from? You should check the laws in detail. I'd suggest to contact a lawyer to confirm.

Congratulations!!!!!!! In most of the cases you get the email the same day or the next day. In some cases it takes about a week. Do you have a travel history to any country?

Nope! From my side. Waiting. May has started,
Pls be there updates for June applicants. Now NDVO is processing Nov applications too

There are less applicants for September, October, November and December. In fact there are only 323 applications for month of december. Comparing that to month of April, May, June, july and August there are almost 1000 applications each for these months. If NVDO had hired new staff, the new staff is working faster as there are lesser number of applications and there medical ma are still valid so they are elemanating the step of re-medical.
I know people who applied in April-August are still waiting and it's unfair however they are picking up pace so just keep the positive energy around. Just keep faith and everyone will get it sooner or later. Good luck everyone.

Visa is usually 6 months that what it was for me any ways but it was 6 years ago.

Not really, she has never been out of India before infect once she tried the visitor for Canada and it was refused

I am concerned about the new application processing time that has changed from 17 months to 20 months from New Delhi Visa Office. will it affect anyone that has applied prior to the change or only for new applicants? : :

So happy for you man. Guess who doesn't need the visitor visa anymore
They are doing great by reducing the waiting period. I think they are better than me who really had to wait for 11 years to marry the love of his life.

My wife got a call today and the lady from other side asked about her engineering passing year and whether she is ready to settle down in canada.
The calling number was from cell phone and in truecaller its from Gujarat.....is it a fake call? any ideas?
