I am living in Canada as a permanent Citizen since June 2012 and i got married by May 29,2015 . I have applied for Spouse Sponsorship and the file has been received by August 20, 2016 and they started processing by September 30,2016. I received the Eligibility letter by October 20,2016 which states for the submission of the Medical Examinations too. But Now i am not getting any updates regarding the file its just showing IN PROCESS and as per the processing times it is showing as 17 months. In the meantime my wife wants to stay with me, I dont know whether is it right to bring her on a tourist visa and make her to stay until her processing is done. I am not sure about the procedure if anyone knows please help me .

You posted the same question 3 times, Please delete the other 2.

This is normal processing time and that's why you haven't heard anything from New Delhi yet.

However, just today we found out that they have started processing August 2015 files in parallel so you should be hearing something by next month hopefully. If you don't hear anything next month then you can order notes (see below my signature).

Yes, you can apply for your wife's visitor visa and there is no harm in it. She can stay with you up to 6 months and then you can ask for extension.

Kindly send ndvo even the hard copy with nice detail covering letter to avoid any delay in ur file processing as in few cases they hv asked again fr hard copy submission as Canadian pr application processing is mostly paper work ,surely they can discard excess documentation aftr noting it in the file...or may be they wont ask fr hard copy bt to be on safer side u shld forward it thru courier .....u may even add other additional proofs to prove genuineness of ur relationship apart frm photos which they hv asked as to not to gv them any doubt abt ur eligibility....still go with ur gut feeling...jus my two cent.....we all hope that u receive ur remed asap...thnx fr updating abt ur application....best wishess

Yes, my wife is sending hard copies from India as well. I sent them an email with the photos because it's very quick. In the email, they mentioned only marriage photos that's why I don't want to add anything else. With the application, I already submitted 500 pages whatsapp & FB chat history, 6 months call details, Kerala trip details etc etc.

Let's see what happen next.

Yes i did. Even during my sponsorship process i sent them marriage reception and honeymoon photos and that thing mentioned in my GCMS notes also.
Maybe they want to see more photos..

Hopefully someone else can provide more info. According to me:

Your wife has to do the case specific inquiry. If you do the case specific inquiry then you should also upload the consent form.

You can write a letter with updating email id and her signature at the bottom.
