Here is my timeline

App Filed: June 23, 2015
AOR1: July 25, 2015
SA: August 24, 2015
IP: August 25, 2015 (3rd line added - Started Processing application on August 28, 2015)
AOR2 : Not yet

Its been more than 3 months since the SA, but we haven't received the AOR2 email yet. I tried calling the CIC Call Centre, they said, the file has been transferred to NDVO. But I am worried as we didn't receive AOR2 from NDVO. Is there any way to contact the NDVO? Is anyone facing this situation?

i don't know. ndvo sucks. tomorrow is our anniversary. and i miss my husband alot. ndvo try to understand our precious time. why r u spoiling our time.

I applied on online so passport was required for that. I sent my passport later when I get message from them. My recommendations for getting visitor are
1 Job plays a huge role because it proves you will be back to work after your days off. So I attached leave letter. I didnot attach any pay slips. Instead I attached $10,000 draft.

Thanks for your reply. I am doing online application. Did it give you an option to 'submit' online? I am in the process now. For online application, it's assessing eligibility first and then giving you options of family sponsorship or visitor visa. I selected visitor visa and I am being redirected to a page where it's showing different forms and supporting documents. When I open the main form, it's opening in PDF. Does it mean v have to fill it out online and print out and mail it out along with supporting documents?

AOR- acknowledgement of receipt
AOR1- sent to the sponsor (mail/email)
AOR2- sent to the principal applicant (mail/email)

according to the terminology used in this forum they are different, AOR2 is sent by NDVO to the applicant. i got mine after 8 days once sponsor eligibility was done. it takes around 40-60 days from AOR1. the principal applicant gets the UCI in AOR2.

Thank you for very much for simplifying it. It helped a lot.

This is a very frustrating process and it's hard to get answers. The page helps a lot. I just hope they speed up the process. I don't know why they needed to make the process time so long. It's just doesn't make sense. Before spouses were coming in 3 to 4 months and now it's just frustrating.

hi, i am the sponsor, the only things my representative send me the initial letter they i am eligible for SA and after eight days i got another letter stating the application number of the sponsered person, i never received any UCI, keeping my fingers crossed, is this a normal thing not getting UCI.
