It's better to apply once NDVO touches your file. Eg. Now NDVO is processing Oct/Nov 2014 files. The purpose is to check on the status of your spous's application.You should definately apply for the GCMS notes now.

Adivced to apply early if your Sponsorship approval is delayed..... and you need to request info about the sponsor and sponsorship.

GCMS notes are essentially all of the notes that CIC will have on your file.

I live in Canada as a Canadian and my wife lives with me as a Visitor for now. Should I apply for GCMS notes using my name or my wife's name or it does not matter?

Edit: Also, do I need GCMS note before I could make an enquiry via MP office?

To my experience employment letter,leave sanction letter are important but u need a ITR document also.....as i too hv a job with cash earnings ...and i dont hv income tax return document ......my trv was refused jus two weeks back....
Dont knw , i should reapply fr trv or not

Once your file reaches New Delhi visa office, your wife will get an email (AOR2 - Acknowledgement of receipt) which will have her UCI no. You have to use this UCI no. and your wife's last name, DOB to access her ecas. It will also show under your ecas once the file reaches New Delhi.

Its unfortunate the TRV got rejected and it was the same for my wife as well. She is not working and had just graduated so not much savings or assets.
I am not sure if the outcome will change for you if the situation hasnt changed that is if you have assets and have started working

Hi,
FOR TRV, job is must and if you have genuine job obviously you will have Income Tax Documents. Job plays a great role in getting TRV.

as gn1984 mentioned they are still working on Oct/Nov applicants and the last person to get DM was a Aug 2014 applicant.

You wont hear anything until the AOR1 is issues which is usually closers to SA which is currently at 60+ days
