There is nothing to think positive or negative in medical.
The medical centre need to have skills to attach your medical to candidates profile.

So someone i know attended the conference where McCallum was giving his speech. She said he mentioned how he is aware of the whole delayed situation with family class visas and how they are hiring more people to fasten the process. He is stopping the express visas and focusing more on family class applications to get more immigrants in that way.

back in 2010 my friend got his wife from India in 4 months. 3-4 years back timeline was 6-8 months.
Only in 2015 timeline got extended due to refugee applications in Nepal and Syriya.
I think liberal govt will again reduce timeline to 6-8 months.
But the problem is with the people who are in backlog and have already suffered a lot.

Ya thats true. But even my application from Nepal is in limbo for almost 17 months now. God knows what is the reason behind it. There are others who are in similar situation. So its not entirely true that they are working in Nepalese applications significantly faster than others.

If u were recommended for interview and u r December applicant, then yes MP inquiry would be useless. Since right now only August applicants are getting interview dates. So even MP cannot help u there.

I think for visitor visa u will need to do medical again (once they ask for it). Use this thread for applying for visitor visa:

I am not saying all Nepal applicants. But after earthquake in April last year they processed refugee application from Nepal.
Order notes or do MP enquire to find out if you are queued for interview. If so there is nothing much you can do.
Otherwise there are good chances you will hear shortly.
After your 17 month completes do an inquiry that your 17 months complete.

You need to have very strong ties to India to get visitor visa. But not impossible. Do good research and apply.
