Hi everyone,

I am not clear on the next steps but here is our timeline

We received your application for permanent residence on April 22, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 26, 2015.
Medical results have been received.


What should we expect at this point for next steps ? I am guessing the overall process is taking more than a year now so we should expect it to complete (barring no issues) around mid-2016 right ?

Yes, or earlier! Around Feb./March 2016 hopefully.

With the blessings of god i got my passport back with shiny visa for 5 year multiple entry. I am 31st oct applicant and applied for TRV on 5/10/15 and today got my passport back. Travelling Edmonton on 27/10/15. My file is in process since 06/10/15.
Dnt wait guys apply ur trv and meet ur loved once.

I applied in November 25 th.. Can u please put notes on excel sheet that remedial requested on 16 th October and "explanation for not declaring that the applicant applied for trv before pr application" revived on 12 th October.

Got notes yesterday
It says eligibility passed
Medical passed

Bottom line says interview waived. Request for remedial and send a pf regarding not declaring about trv.

What is the issue of not declaring TRV before PR application? I don't remember anything on application forms about it

Hi, On IMM 5669 (Principal Applicant's form) it is clearly mentioned that if you ever refused for visitor or trv, you have to check the yes box., even if you have representative, it is your duty to verify the information provided in the documents before signing and sending it to CIC.

You cannot blame only to your representative. The only way is to talk to your representative and send correct forms with the explanation. Your representative is also liable for this, check with him and ask him to send explanation.

Don't worry, CIC is not to hard on these matters, as far as your relationship is genuine they will accept your explanation.

IS it advisable to do re medical before cic request.. My wife's medical is expiring on November 14. Is it advisable to do remedical before CIC requesting for it???

Hi wait for the letter, Even doctor will also not upload the medical results until the old one expire.

Kake,
You dont need a ppc and medical when applying for a TRV.
If you have a job in India wherein you are working at present, thats a sure shot case for approval. Give a detailed and honest Cover letter for your reason for asking for a TRV.
Show enough funds in your account.
