We got PPR request through email yesterday - October 14th!!! ECAS still shows In Process.

Have submitted the passport today. Will let you guys know once I get it back with the visa.

hey I have quick question for the seniors. does the processing time start from when the file was received by Delhi immigration or when the file actually goes in process? because my husband file was received on September 11 2014 and it now changed to "file has been in process since march 2015" so I don't know how long its going to take now

Processing time for NDVO is 17 months, its for worst case, if your file is straight forward then it will take 8-9 months. Just wait 2-3 weeks more.. you will see some good news for you..

but does that mean the processing count down start from march 2015? it has already been 14 months since my file transfer. so lets say if mine is not straightforward then it would take another 17 months :'( :'(

i have recived a letter by email from delhi immigration, to explain why principal applicant didn't declare that she been refused a trv. Actually i filed through a lawyer and the lawyer received the mail. i had informed the lawyer at the time when i filed my wife's application that her visiting visa was refused. but somehow it seems like it wasn't mentioned in background declaration form. so now they asked for an explanation letter.

so can I mail delhi immigration by myself or should i have to do it through the same representative.

please help me out

Did you apply for trv before submitting the application for pr or after you had submitted the application

You have to ask your lawyer to do it on your behalf as his e mail id has been given

my try was rejected before filing PR application. but i have mentioned that to my lawyer too.. so is there any way that i can do it or my wife can do it.

IP status now days does not mean anything. It's new way of working of NDVO.
I am Nov 26, 2014 applicant, and we will apply for GCMS Notes first time either in December 2015 end or Jan 2016. I know notes will not show anything right now.

Looking at Arun's post. NDVO seems to be conducting background checks on nov applicants.

you have mentioned that September 1st u got IN PROCESS...so after that only u would have ordered GCMS notes right? is there stated in Application status reason as " IN Process" Huh Because this might be helpful to clear the air regarding in process means nothing these days or it really matters.
And regarding RPRF fees...just check AMOUNT ALLOCATED and AMOUNT PAID. hope this helps you out.

Got IN PROCESS since sme days back. I only seen it now, as i ddnt even open the cic webpage since a month. Got TRV so going to canada by 2nd NOV.
