Hi everyone,

I got my notes which I ordered 2 weeks after I got In process.

Eligibility : Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Passed

Does the status of security ever get changed or I read somewhere that it does not get updated due to confidentiality.
Does anyone's Security status show In progress or passed ??
They have also done CPIC checks, RCMP screening. So if you ever visited Canada better to send RCMP check along with application.

RCMP is not mandatory because they will do the check themselves using name and DOB but if they get a hit on your name they will request fingerprints later. Ink Fingerprints are done outside Canada and it takes 6 months for the result. Whereas digital fingerprinting is done only within Canada and results take 3 days.

So all who are visiting Canada consider doing an RCMP check before leaving.

If somebody is on TRV and stays less than 6 months in Canada, should they get the RCMP check done?

I have seen u so much nagative in this forum. Stay positive. I am quite positive that we will be reached in july. Fingers crossed anyway. Wish u all speedy process.thinking about TRV. If i will apply will let u know.

I am thinking positive dear ... not negative. But new delhi visa officers has been processing files very very slowly even for guinean / simple / normal marriage cases. I also wish you and rest of all speedy PR visa.

I got 35 pages. If you are in India, my suggestion is don't do RCMP check without request. You may not even need it. Also they may request for the results to be directly sent to them instead of you obtaining and then mailing it out.

Don't worry about it !!

God knows how they work they haven't even opened my file hence its not updated in notes

Now I m with my husband but the thing is if I get my passport request do I need to come back again to India for stamping or I can inform about my address change and do the whole process from here any help will be appreciated . I'm new to his group. My husband is in Canada and we applied for sponsorship on March 5, 2015.
I have two queries...

(1)we got AOR and SA...and day before yesterday an email saying that documents are received in New Delhi Office.
Is this what is called AOR-2 ?? If so, after this what is the next thing they do?

(2)I'm in Abu Dhabi now, on vacation with my parents. Is this a problem, i mean is it permissible to travel out of india during this application processing period??

Hi! Yes the one that you got yesterday, is called as AOR2. Besides, there's no issue if you travel anywhere round the globe as many times as you want. Even am going for a vacation on 31st to Thailand with my family. In a nutshell, all is okay at your okay

Guys today i got an email from the Immi. Department asking for me to get my Medical re assessment to be done again . And they have asked for me to revert in 7 days . I am a little horrified , coz i tried taking an appointment from shanti niketan in Delhi , but they say they are full . And there is no appointment available till Monday . Cud anyone guide me if he or she has gone to the same phase . I read Preetinderbedi also went thru same . Could you plz help and guide and let me know do i have to ask them to do everything whatever have been asked .

Hi I went to sadhu vasvsni hospital, they gave me appointment for Wednesday only post my request and they wrote urgent on my file. If you request them they will give u slot. Also in case still u face problem call max mohali and ask them to make u speak to gurpreet mam as she is the one who looks after immigration medicals, she even told me to come on same day post my request. I remedical they usually ask only for chest xray and simple check up and no blood or urine test.
