Why don't we all come together and sign a petition. If Inland applicants can do it, why can'y us. We are tax paying citizens of Canada....They just cannot do whatever they want. We gotta ask them for answers on delay Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

There has to be someone who should be answering us. Taking no accountability of this ****ing process is not possible in today's social world.

I would also request everyone to paste their stories on twitter #CICBACKLOG and tweet to immigration minister @MinChrisA. I am doing the same. Tired of this wait Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

CIC has my passport- so guess they will be sending the passport back through Indian registered mail right? could anyone who had their passport with CIC- and not used VFS_ please explain- how much time after DM was passport sent.\


Looking at 2014 forms they have been sending in 10days after DM

We recd. our stamped passport today

Appln filed- 03rd July
Passport request- 12th feb
Passport sent directly to New Delhi Office- 16th Feb

I have observed,, that people who sent passport thru VFS Chandigarh on same date recd. in one week time.

And its even sadder to see how 2014 applicants are getting before 2013 applicants.....but what the hell can we do ...we are at their mercy........... frustration has reached its peak.....

Even applicants from Jan-May 2014 are waiting, and they are clearing the applications from July....frustrated .

@Fiza: Last month I had applied for CAPIS/ATIP case notes and I received them today. Well, this is what is said: The wedding was performed in accordance with cultural norms. Given a very good and active guest participation Good comfort level seen in each other's company. Relationship appears genuine.

This is all there is. This was updated/entered on 30TH November and after which there are no notes at all. Label still shows as "Eligibility". There is one note though in astreix: *****Refer to Officer****. I am presuming it's referred to officer. Not sure. Did you also see anything of this kind???

This is good news. They have accepted that relationship is genuine, but I am not sure why they are taking this long to go to next step. May be you will hear something soon.

Unfortunately, for me there is nothing like that. They haven't touched my File since Oct 1st after writing interview recommended

there should be a status list in one of the first few pages. It will say Eligibility: Pass, medical ass and so on. What do those say? And for each section there should be a Due Date. When are the due dates? Does it say RFV any where?

@Fiza: Sorry asking you another question again. I looked at the ATIP case notes and right on 1st page there are two pointers connected to application status and are:

App Status:Open
App Status Reason: In Progress

By any chance does yours also reflect the same? I realise that you have been recommended for an interview.

Funny thing is that CIC site still says "Application Received" under my wife's column (though it says "Decision made" under my name).

Just wondering if you can clarify.

PS: It says that Criminality and Security : Not Started. So this is against us for now (probably slowing the process).
