NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Ya, we are sailing in same boat. They requested additional documents from us on 30th september.

I had applied for my wife's sponsorship to Canada and it's been a waiting game since almost 10 months. Just wondering if any body else (other than Fiza) with the same kind of time line below:

Visa office: NDVO
Medicals done: 23rd Feb 2014
Application received: 1st April 2014
Sponsorship approved and file transferred to NDVO: 3rd June 2014
Certain additional documents requested: 15th September 2014
Documents sent: 25th September 2014
Status on website: Application Received(for my wife)

Since then on it's becoming a bloody waiting game and I see that people who applied in June/July are getting their visas dispatched but not my wife. Wondering if any one has any idea about this godforsaken visa office. Just getting frustrated and putting my life as well as my wife's on hold. Her medicals also will expire in 2 weeks time and yet these # @ $holes are sitting on their asses. Seems like they are just being paid a lot for no work.

Exactly a week ago applied for AITP- case status request. Realistically how long does it take to hear from this department in regards to AITP. Any idea?

Try entering the number on true caller you will find out if it's cic delhi

NO updates! Why? Tuesday is supposed to be update day! What happened NDVO? Can anybody tell me what is the maximum tiem one can stay in IP? Feeling scared and restless :-[

Delhi elections have no impact on working of NDVO except that Indian staff is given 2 hrs off to cast votes on voting day. They don't close completely on Parliamentary or Assembly election voting day.

Application received: july 2, 2014
file transfer to NDVO: Aug 25,2014
In process: dec 30,2014

30th dec OMG, it means there are so many other cases, those are not registered on this forum.

I dont think so its impacted, thats there processing time we have to understand this NDVO actual processing time is 15 month. So we can push them as well, still we guys are lucky we are getting visa in 7-8 months.

i hope so and thank youuu! that's relief and makes sense now ..the only thing is Feb11 meds expire hahaha why oh why but i don't know but we made a mistake in doing meds early

Hi Kamila, congrats on the good news mashallah. I'm waiting for our notes too. I applied on Jan 14th and haven't received them yet. Hopefully soon. Just curious about yours though - you say your medicals are expiring soon. Doesn't your notes give any indication whether the medicals were extended and when they are expiring, or when the file will be reviewed and so on. Seems like the notes didn't contain all the information regarding your current status?
