Yes I did.

I went to visit 3 different MP. 2 mp said my file is process.
And I haven't heard back anything from one MP.

If it is in process then why online my status is still AR.

I also received GCMC notes and everything is normal.

Any other suggestion from your side???

Hi Everyone,

I want to get a TRV to visit spouse in Canada for our first wedding anniversary, got all my documentation ready for tourist visa.
My spouse has not yet been approved as a sponsor-
sent application : October 9th 2014

I want to apply for a TRV to visit Canada in Dec 2014 for 5 weeks.

I've given plenty of ties to my home country-
-Upcoming work (as I am freelancer) and
-notarized letters from husband, affidavit from my father and me declaring the surety of my return
-Both my husband and I have written detailed cover letters as well declaring that I have applied to immigrate to canada but only want to visit for 5 weeks for our first wedding anniversary.
-He has bought visitor medical insurance for the duration of my trip and
-confirmed return flight tickets.

All other documents that they've asked for, ITR, medical, bank records- his and mine, Marriage Certificate, invitation from mother-in-law.

Is there anything else I can do? Application not sent yet!
Any advice on what I can put to make the case stronger?

Congratulations to all those who got their visas!! You and your spouse have been strong and patient and now it's paid off! Wish you a very happy married life! :)

When I applied they said that there is not enough proof of marriage (I only attached marriage certificate) and other reasons. You should include some wedding pictures as guideline in your sponsorship application. The reason I'm saying because NDVO does not have your application and they need to be convinced that your marriage is genuine before they can approve TRV.
Include last year income tax return if you have one.
Proof that you applied for sponsorship. Eg: Receipt of courier
Last year income tax return of your husband
Last 3 months of your husbands and your payslips.
Good luck!
