my lawyer received ppr on 08/10/14 and i received it today.
i have a question for those who have submitted passport.
1) in form should we have to fill all the information apart form applicant.like passport no./height/eye colour.
as my spouse and kid having canadian passport it is necessary to fill their information.
2) i am planning to dispatch passport through vfs.is it o.k

Hi VGP, quick question.... How many days did they specify for you to submit your passport.... Did they mention any timeline/days?

Jan, Feb , March and April applicants get your VISA quickly, so that May, June, July and August can line up ;D

No. It doesn't affect any other applications you submitted. They all go in parallel and seperate.
Having said that, you have less chances of getting it approved as CIC rarely issues visitor visas for guys who applied under spousal sponsership (or PR holders).
You can try though! It doesn't hurt!!

PCC is valid for 1 yr from the date of issue..

Nothing harm in applying but chances of getting TRV is very less as you have already applied for PR.

Thanks Ishvas.. although my timeline suggests otherwise, technically i did apply in march (them losing the application did not count, i guess ) plus my medicals are expiring in Nov.. so maybe they just wanted to get rid of me

Book your tickets immediately as u would then need to enter Canada before nov I.e before medical expiry . Mine is also same case.more u delay lesser options u get and we end up paying more.precautionary get your preferred ticket on hold atleast

What I heard it shouldn't, these are 2 separate files. But chances of getting visitor visa in first go are quite minimal .
