Question guys... By any chance do they reject after status changed to DM that to when they didn't indicated any problem In d file ?

based on my reading in the forum, no applicants have got rejection without an interview. so if you are in DM, you have passed all the stages....sit back, relax and wait for ppr.....

Hi Kan Sri,

Is it possible to have interview after IP also? I think someone was mentioning that if you gt IP, it means you will not have interview...is it true?

Why did we have very few updates this week? Just a couple I believe? With over 50 applicants with the status of "In Process" just 1-2 PPR and no 1 DM? Whats NDVO up to? Whats with so many applications with an "IP" status? Can't they just get them done and over with, esp. with all the checks done (only then I believe an application goes into the status of "IP")?

On a side note: Kan_Sri did your application status change yet? Did you order AITP notes to get an insight into whats happening with your application?

The only thing that matters is does hi pay tax to the government ? Because no matter whatever job he is doing he has to be a tax payee and must show proofs of his income to CIC and that he is capable of sponsoring his spouse. .. rest is no big deal... he can meet a lawyer over there and make a list of MUST NEEDED DOCUMENTS for your spousal application. .

Goodluck :)

Thank you for your reply,

My husband has already gathered all the documents needed for my application and his sponsor application, including the Option C, which shows that he is not on social assistance. There is no income in Option C form, because he was not earning than and was doing a student volunteer job at a reputed medical institute. We do have good amount of money in his bank account.

The only concern is that he is not having a permanent job and doing labor jobs obtained from agencies. So can he attach a letter from the agency or it has to be from the company? I suppose that company do not give a employment letter if you are not a permanent employee.

Please suggest.

Dear I have no idea if u need a permanent job for sponsoring. But Ya option C is a must.. But i think he can ask his employer to issue him a letter .. also on the spousal application there is a section where you need to full details of your employer, like name of the company, address , phone number and how much is the salary.. i am saying this because i saw all this mentioned on my husband's application form..

i dont know if that matters.....

file for spousal PR first and then apply visitor visa......

tell complete and truthful information....say that you have applied for PR in your visitor visa application also...

If possible furnish a return ticket - atleast a travel itenary suggesting you will return....after some time....

good luck....
