How I wish this analysis is true. I had the same analysis in my mind and thinking that I have resigned this month. I will be relieved by end of Aug, hoping for the best.

Yes, Even I m contemplating the same.
On simple grounds, month to month for each month of applications.

On May 15th ,big immigration convention happened in Calgary . Attended by diplomats , foreign high commissioners , every big immigration lawyer was invited . The main purpose was to implement new plan of action designed by Chris Alexander . My lawyer mentioned this to me that they bringing in some big changes like case that don't fall under any radar will be cleared at very fast pace ( within 6 months ) and cases with red flags will have to wait extra long(13 -15 months) because they will be pushed behind fair cases . They are going to grade files and processing time accordingly . Pretty much if you get asked for interview , just consider yourself in long wait and if your file goes Into 'in process' status considered yourself very lucky . From now on it's gonna get very important to submit every document at the time of application filed , rather than waiting to see if they require they can ask . There's a article in Vancouver sun magazine about this new plan of action . That's why we have started to see so many changes with ndvo proceedings like mini interview over phone , calling temple or gurudwara authorities where wedding happened . It's extra pressure while filling application but I would say it's very good news for future genuine applicants

We were thinking of filing some petition to speed up the process, but with this news it looks like the applications may be getting processed soon.

Hi Iceskater and guys, Turns out that the current spreadsheet is using old version of google spreadsheets. So, there are not many features enabled - it can't even compare two dates properly, and count things.

If the moderator can verify once and place it in the top post, then perhaps it could be useful.

I do wish though that more people would add data. 2013 applicants were nice and cool - loads of them added their timelines. We have barely 30 entries in our spreadsheet this year, and its July now.

Can anyone please let me know the current status as in, any updates on which month applicant got passport request ?

New to the forum so trying and erring, can anyone also help out with latest spreadsheet ?

Not as per 2013 procedure, not sure of 2014 trend.
Which year applicant you are??? Did you receive passport request???

No i didn't receive ppr yet, i am jan 31st applicant 2014, just asking when does ecas status change to in process, after ppr or before it?

It's same Sukhman, 13 months. But they are actually wrapping up in 9-10 months if file has no red flags.

i think they are working fast... wish u gud luck and speedy visa's....

Is it so?? I am afraid u might hav misinterpreted some info. I am a regular visitor of 2013 forum(Check it almost 5-6 times a day ) and i did not see any Nov application going to IP. Can u pls share the quote of the same??

I second Omega 123, even I being the frequent visitor, I have not seen any november applicant getting IP. :

Agreed. October applicants are hardly getting IP. Sept is the active month right now.

Hi. NDVO is currently processing applications received Sep 2013. Some Oct 2013 applicants have apparently got 'In Process' status too. No 2014 applicants have got passport requests yet. We are anticipating PPRs to begin early Sep 2014 for Jan 2014 applicants. That's the best guess right now.
