Now a days ppl gor PPR request through email... so keep checking ur mails and spams mails too...
N if u hired a lawyer then may be they send ppr request to ur lawyer too..

The NDVO is closed since Thursday due to Indian holidays. Saturday and Sunday are closed due to weekend.

You have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for any update in Ecas.

I m little confused you applied in May 2014 and sent passport in August 2014... Did new delhi visa officer asked you to send the passport..

then submit your passport and within a week you will get....OMG...... shiny shiny visa...

Hello Love birds messaging after loooooong time. As I was depressed a little for getting no progress.

However,

Applications are now IN PROCESS. Showing they have started processing application since September 16.

I am trying to figure out how long does it take by an average since my wife gets email or mail for PPR.

Congratulations to those with PPR and IP who applied this year earlier. And hang in there and good luck to those who applied recently.

Things are happening all of a sudden!! ;D

HELP/Question:

Do they really ask for updated PCC every time when they request for PPR?

Do people send updated PCC usually when they request for PPR?

Sending Indian updated PCC is not an issue, but my wife also needs to send Chinese PCC, as she lived there more than 6 months, and she left china 3 years ago! It takes very long for her to get PCC from China!

Currently her file is in process since September 16. No emails about requesting updated PCC.

Please someone share this, who already got PPR, did you mail updated PCC with Passport?

Did you medical expired before the case moved to delhi? anyways PCC is valid for 3 months and if it is expired make new one and submit to delhi ASAP. if you can not make pcc in time request for extension of date if they have given an date.

Same happened with me .....I scanned copy of RPRF and old PCC along with letter they had mailed .Same was accepted by NDVO and visa 5 months later
About visiting spouse if u r Canadian citizen u can go any duration .thought. CIC confirms that PR can also go for as long he want but many seniors recommend oh 3-4 weeks in case of PR

Hi Guys...
I need help to assure something.
Actually I had already planned my trip to visit my spouse now and booked reservations 2 months ago for Oct-Nov.
I thought our application will be processed in Dec or Jan as I applied in Apr.
As its my return booked flight to come back after 4 weeks in Nov and I am PR here in Canada; but our application went in process on Sep 30th.
Can I stay longer to wait for my spouse's visa and come back together.?
