I m not sure.. but you can take it as a good sign.. its kinda mini interview over the phone.. that means they have picked up your file..

Your status is AR but ur file is in In process.. this weekend your status will surely change to IP or may be directly to DM.

As we hear from various forum that sometime they didnt change the status and ppl gor their PPR.. hope for the same.. may be they dnt have time to update status cuz as i just heard this year immigrants will increase to 42000 to 60000...

do you have your UCI number and File number? i was told the Agent on CIC phone will hand it out to you.

if you have those you can check online...ECAS..

If that is the case i dont think you have to worry about AOR or SA...i think..

ya but did u check the timeline? he was a sept 2013 applicant. what's taking so long? did anyone tried to call New Delhi? and I have a concern. its been more than 2 weeks. I have not received aor 2 from new delhi. I haven't even recieved aor 1 yet. my husband called cic in mississauga and they told that his sponsorship is approved. he also confirms that the email address was correct. but haven't heard anything yet.. horrible days going right now. anger, confusion, frustration all feelings coming at once.

yes sometimes it happens. my friend got PPR direct. she was nov applicant

I am a feb 24 applicant, my status is still "Application Received". Neither I or my wife(sponsored) person have received any uci# or acknowledgement from NDVO. Although I did receive an acknowledgement from Mississauga upon approval of my sponsorship. I am about to request the case notes but do I need a consent signed from my wife in order for me to that?

If you call CIC, they would give you UCI no.

Ya u need consent form from ur wife
Tell her to fill a form nd email u so that u can add consent form when u request for notes otherwise they take 15 days more to give u information
