Hello All,

I have PR under CEC category. Currently i am in India, yet to complete the landing formalities. I am searching for a job in Canada and hopefully will land very soon. I would like to marry after i settle in Canada.

I see that i would need to sponsor under family class. Here are my questions :

1. What is the average time for PR for spouse (Last checked it shows 13 months for New Delhi Visa ofice).
2. Is there no way that she can be with me(Atleast for few months) during the processing time of her PR ?

hey Anil... first of all focus on your landing here in Canada and then think about getting married lol.... jk

Normally once you apply in Spousal Category it takes 8-9 months depending upon your case. i think by the time you will come here and then get married the processing time will change and i hope it will be less as it was earlier within 6 months
and if you are saying you wanna be with your wife when you come here... the only way is visitor visa but getting approval for that is minimal. You can try it before getting married but relsationship should be strong enough.. i suggest just wait and don't get into trouble.. firstly come here and then get married and apply asap... it should not take long..
