I think we are in a same situation. Ours have in process since dec too, and our medical just expired last month. My agent doesn't want to do any inquiry, because he thinks it will make our case weak. We don't know what to do next month it's going to be a year. Usually everyone are getting their visa's within a year but on ours it's stressing us.

Yes...my case is also the same....we are planning to wait till June and then see what to do if it does not come till then.

yea it should have been 13 months. thats why i was little confused because 13 months will be in June, but if you take out SA days 13 months will be in August or September. Because that what the website says that the SA days are not counted in the 13 month or 16 month time period mentioned for NDVO office.

Don't know which timeline they follow. It should have been 13 months as that is what the Timeline was when we applied.....till date no news.Don't know how these morons work or do they even work? just sitting on our files for more than an year.

Everyday there is a fight between me and my husband because of these morons. Don't know what should I do. can't find any way out of this mess........atleast NDVO should communicate but nope they just wannn keep us in dark and keep guessing whether it is 13 months or 16 months or god know what month it is

Ya same we are waiting until mid of July to see any miracles... Then we are thinking of applying for visitor visa which again is 50/50% .... Don't know what to do... Sitting back n waiting is so hard...

FYI Fiza: It seems it's 13 months from the day the file arrives in Delhi and not from the day you filed. That's what I have been told and is what is mentioned on CIC's site.

I would presume its good news to see your in progress. You got the AOR2 quite late correct, when did you get it??

hello everyone . i Am going to file my husband's case in this month . i have a question that after i submit the file and when file is transfered to new delhi is it necessary for me to saty in canada while they are processing the file? If there is a time limit after which i have to be back in canada? as i am plaanig to live in india with my husband till he gets visa.
is it true that i have to stay in canada for atleast 6 months in a year ?

The answer depends on you being a PR or a citizen. If you are a citizen there is no restriction and you can stay outside the country with the spouse but you will have to show how you plan to move back. If you are a PR it is advisable not to leave the country for more than the usual holiday time period about a month max and if you are a PR your are required to be in the country for a certain period to fulfill your residency obligation

It will always be in progress. That status means nothing other than that they have touched your file. DO you see anything mentioned at the bottom with comments? What is your eligibility status?

This means my husband should get a visa by July. Honestly, I have no high hopes from morons
