With you Magicman.....Will be hitting my 1 year in 2 days.....so frustrated right now. I wish i had applied for visitor visa for my husband .........no point of applying now as we are getting close to interview ....so frustrated with all this wait . .

Hello fiza and magicman on 14th April will complete 1 year to file and 9 months with f*** NDVO. Don't know Wat shud I do m really fed up how they are working on our file my lyf is going to spoil day by day

Sorry to post this again, could really use some advice


Couple of questions about the application

- For the supporting documents, do I need to get anything notarized ? For example, photocopies etc ?

- Do I need a separate cover letter from myself (sponsor) and my wife or one should suffice ? What are the main points to highlight in the letter and how long is it usually ?

We didn't get anything notarized. If the guide does not say so no need to get it notarized. Although check if the guide is updated now.
My husband and I both of us wrote letters explaining our relationship development in our own words in response to one of the questions in the form. We included detailed timeline. Most info was repetitive and it was personal recollection. We didn't copy ;-) It was 3 pages I guess. It can be longer if you have a lot more to tell.
Write more about how u felt and ur emotions during ur relationship development.

Did not include a cover letter as such. We had many indexes. And all separate answers were signed and dated.
Provide as much proof as possible of ur ongoing relationship. Never think this is enough. All the best!

Correct. me too same. Applied on 1st April 2014 and a year has passed with no news at all. It's really unfair to all applications waiting. They need to know quickly whether they will get the visa or not. I have put my life on hold against some imp. decisions for arrival of my wife. GOK when we will see that day.

You will get an email from ndvo it takes two months after the sponsor approval

Hope u changed the name of spouse on pp too and your wife added your name on her pp too..

i agree .....but tell me something ..in my notes there are no red flags as such ..what are the scenarios for red flag ..?

can someone tell me ...mine is first and only marriage but i do have alot of travel history around the world and to canada especially !

so what could be any reason for red flag for me ? as they have not specified in notes

Even working doesn't help anymore. I am unable to concentrate on anything.......life has come to a standstill. NDVO you SUCK

Hiiii guyssss. ..... Anotger update from my side ....... Got a call from NDVO ....man ask about my remedicals nd ask my remeds UMI no nd panel physician name .... Nd said we recv ur remedicals... . guys i did remeds without NDVO request nd suggest to everyone done remeds without request it will save ur 3-4 months gud luck

Another week has gone and not a single updates from anyone,it's so depressing now.
Can't concentrate on anything-

Avneet u did good by doing remed- u definitely going to save time otherwise I heard in the forum many ppl suggested not to do remed without request but you proved them wrong .
