My Que to Legal Rep:

*********’s Medical is expiring by February 22, 2015.

I believe that New Delhi Visa Office normally contact the applicant almost a month before to know if they could travel immediately and if the response is positive from candidate then they issue visa promptly.
Else they ask for re-medical which is again a lengthy process and further delay by 2-3 months.

I am afraid to know that on such enquiry even if the call is missed or responded with anything else than positive response, it results into further delay.

Due to this fact, I want ********’s direct number to be provided so that she can respond accordingly.

Response from Legal Rep:

********* must wait for instructions from New Delhi before she can go for new medical examination. New Delhi will email us instructions in writing electronically when the time comes, the same way they forwarded us their letter of ****** acknowledging receipt of her application. We receive new medical instructions routinely via email without any problem for other spousal cases. Medical instructions will not be issued verbally by phone.

Our experience is that New Delhi will not be issuing new medical instructions until processing is near the final stage and they are satisfied that they do not need the applicant to attend a personal interview. New Delhi's processing time respecting spousal applications is approximately 15 months. *********'s application arrived at New Delhi on/about *******.

:-) that's what i keep thinking, for some reason they are clearing up first 6 months file of 2014.
once they start next phase, it should be fast for remainder of 2014 files.

I hope and pray they look at pending files from Feb, March, april and May also.

I very tired now....no energy left to deal with wait....please god help us those who have been waiting for so long now

I did MP Enquiry and was told that they checked with NDVO and got informed that everything is moving quickly and in order.....and my response was like...."really".

They told its due for final review now and I should soon hear back and asked me to call back after 1 month if there isn't any update.
I asked what if there is same story even after 1 month then the response was that they will ask for bring forward date as when the decision will be made.

I informed about my medical test which is going to expire in Feb 22, 2015 but was told that as per immigration it will expire on June 20, 2015. How that? Isn't it one year??? Surprised with their response...

Isn`t medicals valid for an year? NDVO change rules as per their convenience......I am also trying to get MP inquiry.

Medical is valid for one year. That is correct BUT.....as long as the file process is completed within 15 months of from the day when the medical was done AND the decision is a positive one they will not ask for a remedical. VO can get the medical extended on behalf of the applicant.

I remember reading about that somewhere.
