hey guysss so like i mentioned before that our interview was on july 29, 2014 at chandigarh office and today we checked online and it says "IN PROCESS" is this a goood sign....(i believe it is but i need more input..)

this is how it looks now...we waited for in process for almost 14 months now!!!!

Permanent Residence
We received null Singh's application for permanent residence on June 19, 2013.

We started processing null Singh's application on July 31, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

null Singh's interview is July 29, 2014.


please give me your comments and views

when your ECS "medical results have been received" updated. i would like to know that before interview or after interview ??

Hi our medical and pcc is expired since april 2014....at the interview the officer handed us the original photographs and evidences and the passport and said we'll contact you next week (which will be this week) and they started processing our file after the interview....so im bit confused...im happy and confused...i guess the letter (email) will explain everything....and the medical was updated last year in july or august 2013
...

First of all congratulations to all those who got dm or ip in the last few days and best of luck to those still waiting to hear the good news.

I have a query regarding landing...Do I have to make a list of all goods accompanying me to Canada?...Does the Customs section at the Canadian airport ask for such a list?...I am not very clear about this...Anyone who has had a landing experience recently or anyone who has knowledge about this may shed some light...I'd appreciate your help.

currently it is a year time for scheduling interviews..so you will get an interview date for sept (assuming interview dates are not filled and you are not asking for interpreter ) or oct...for question number 2, see the last two pages of notes and you will get an idea what lovely folks at new delhi visa office concerned about and you can come up with likely questions...here are the links for applying for notes

you don't have to prepare a list of goods if you are carrying a suitcase of ordinary things like clothes, books or grinder (just joking) but if it is a suitcase full of gold jewellery then it is a different case (wouldn't recommend checking in a suitcase full of jewellery)...list of all good accompanying usually used by people who cross the border by land and a mini truck full of their home goods (furniture; kitchen items; washing machine kind of stuff) following them. So that they don't have to pay customs duty. If you carry cash over $10000 you should declare it. Hopefully you won't wear lots of jewellery and have to remove one at a time at the time of security check and hold everyone else behind you...
