Don't know what's happening with my file:-
Started processing file on June 20th 2014--- they have not asked us for any ADR- the medical will expire on the 8th of this month.


Could someone advise what will or could happen?

After getting IP- will one get an interview?

or

we just have to wait for remedial - submit it and get passport back?-with Visa?

Kavita- is your case straightforward? ANy red flags? If IP since June20th, do you think you not having provided PCC for Kuwait, could be the reason for the delay?

Andrew- Regarding the PCC- this information we received from the MP and not from the CIC. When we did get the information we applied a Kuwait consulate in Delhi- processing 45 day min (EID +).

We did also send a PCC - CIC- request letter to Delhi (as if CIC gives ADR with this PCC request- to get a PCC straight from Kuwait- a request letter from CIC Delhi is needed- but still no reply, we have send many emails- no reply.

We have send in additional communication proof, evidence contact

When I called CIC- here in Toronto (they advised me and my wife to contact CIC- Delhi and advise them - if they need anything from us ADR- they should contact us and let us know what's missing); we did as CIC- Toronto advised--- still no reply--------- so really wondering what's happening.

I will be getting my notes in 2 days- and I am sending notes request every two weeks- to know what's happening.
We both are having second marriages. (but all documentation was submitted)

What do you suggest?

Hello experienced members,
I can not open my wife's ecas but can mine. In my ecas it says decision made for both sponsorship and permanent resident application of my spouse. Does it mean that it is decision made for both of our ecas? It says her file was in process on 30 July and decision was made when I opened the ecas (August 2nd). Considering the immediate change from in process to Decision Made is normal?

its a gud news...continue checks ur wife's status. ..and for the confirmation ask ur MP to find out that they dispached ur passport or not...all the best

Is it a longer process time if you are from Punjab than any other states?....just wondering.

if ur case is straight forward then its not a problem whether u are from Punjab or not but if u hv some red flags in ur file then they are lil bit suspicious abt the case.

hey guysss so like i mentioned before that our interview was on july 29, 2014 at chandigarh office and today we checked online and it says "IN PROCESS" is this a goood sign....(i believe it is but i need more input..)

this is how it looks now...we waited for in process for almost 14 months now!!!!

Permanent Residence
We received null Singh's application for permanent residence on June 19, 2013.

We started processing null Singh's application on July 31, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

null Singh's interview is July 29, 2014.


please give me your comments and views

congratss it means u passed the interview. ..if ur medical already expired then in few days u will received remedical req and then DM. ..gud luck

I am so fed up with NDVO. Even after remeds and IP since 3rd July, i have not got DM. Everyday I keep thinkin bout this and it's really affecting my mood and the way i have started behavin with the people around me. I amd usually irritated and frustated.. I have started talkin in a irritatin way wid my mum n dad whenever they ask me bout visa.. I feel pissed off when i see my neighbour's faces coz they question me, arey abhi tak gayi ni" grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and all this anger is vented out on poor hubby.. I have no one else to vent it out so i yell at him, though he is sweet enough to keep quiet and listen but still I feel bad later on.. When will i get the good news.. I so so so want to close this distance as it is before our wedding we had always been in long distance since 2011. Now I do not want to handle this distance at all..
Sorry for this long post, I really needed to speak it out :'(

this is the special thing in our forum..here everybody understands each others feelings...even sometimes our parents didn't understand us...don't worry we all hear gud news together and will b soon. ...and don't fight vid poor Pedro. ..enjoy the whether. ..in cool cool whether cool down ur mood sweetie

Now that we got our passport back, I want to share few points.
- I really doubt if an extensive travel history will delay the process. My wife had 3 passports and had lived outside India for a long time. We had submitted PCC from USA, UK, Australia, UAE and India. She also had stayed in Canada for 2 years, but IP to Visa stamping took us only 9 days. It actually took us 6 months after marriage just to gather all PCC. So travel history does not matter.
- My wife had visitor visa rejected for Canada twice after marriage. So a rejection will not affect your process as well.

Just because my wife is joining me soon, I do not want to forget this experience. We both have planned to petition our MP and rigorously follow up to highlight the plight of spouses and the effect of this long wait. I have already talked to my MP about it and will continue to impress upon them the need for a process change.

However if you are a newly wed 2014 applicant and preparing to apply, I suggest take your time to provide extensive proofs and try to get a medical done close to your date of application. The onus to prove a legit marriage lies with the applicant.

no there is no chances of interview. ..I think they already finished ur background checks. ..and dese lazy morons just waiting when ur medical expires and they will send u remedical req. ..just keep checking ur emails bcoz before or after one week of medical expires they sure send remedical request. ..hang in dere in few days u will received gud news...all the best

Since it is second marriage for both of you, probably it is going to multiple VO officers for approval before DM. So hang in there. You should see DM by August 8th.

Now, I got the certificate from the Temple where my marriage took place and this was also asked by CIC.

So I can re apply or go to Appeal?

Thanks...for your interview...id say study your application and dates...they ask this question for sure (if we reject your application what will you do?) also ask who attended the wedding and if your siblings didnt attend..why they didnt attend the wedding...why did you marry your spouse...did you marry them to go to canada...how long you been living together..wedding and ceremony dates...our was love marriage so they asked me (the sponsor) do you get along with your in laws....are your inlaws happy that their son is going to canada....tricky questions but if your marriage is genuine...you will know how to answer properly and in genuine way.
