Hello Guys,

I am a Jan'14 applicant and have not heard anything apart from SA. Any advises on generating notes? Shall i go for it or wait further?

you can apply for notes but you will be more likely to see 'nothing started' in your notes...if you haven't not sent your passport then you may want to apply for notes just to see if they have not sent notification to wrong email address...

W2E, I am sure that they have my correct e-mail address as I have already got a kind of mail from them from them asking couple of docs. I think I will wait for a month or so in this case. I believe they have started working on Sept applications already, so by sept-oct'14, 2014 should start.

May 2013 applicants still waiting after remedicals are me, w2e, msingh2013, bubbles67. Even if one of us gets some update it will give hope to the rest of us.....

Application received by CIC - 20/06/2013
Approved as a sponsor - 26/7/2013
Passport requested on - 4/9/2013
Passport submitted - 29/9/2013
Additional info requested feb 16/2014
Submitted May 10th/2014

The reason the additional information was not filed in Febuaray is because we did not find out CIC requested it until I contacted our MP, he was the one that told me that additional information was requested, but my lawyer said they did not get the email, it delayed our process without a doubt. Now cases after us are getting VISA and we are left behind, anyone got any words of support because my wife and are frustrated beyond belief

Hi Akhilcanada,

I can understand your frustration of getting left behind. My wife's application was transferred to NDVO in April 2013 and still status is "Application Received". All we can do is apply for notes, supply documents when requested and hope for best. Best of luck.

i forgot..someone in the forum stated that ndvo had changed its policy of asking passports in the beginning of the process..now they ask at the end of the process

Medical Request: Mar31 '14
Medical Received: April 23 2014
Passport sent: May 19 '14

i should hire somebody to check my ecas every hour...i am getting bored with checking three or four times a day...

be glad that they have not asked your child to appear for interview.....they might have done a criminal background check on your kid too..you know kids below 5 years, they can't be trusted..they might have stolen a candy from another child...

if d procedure is fast vid a child then may be I was stolen another person' s child ..
right now I don't know whether I will hv an interview or not. .according to you how many time for background checks mine different nd baby's different ??..why they hv not done all d background checks for d past candidates, whom dere relationships not geniune..now how many time they hv done for a background check in d same time all d fraud cases got dere visa's...they enjoyed in Canada n we all geniune cases are suffered bcoz of them..
