My medical date hasn't been extended. It expires in March...

don't worry..you have until March and you are 'in process'....most likely they will give your shiny visa two weeks before your medical expires and ask you to leave before it expires...sometimes they would call you and give you the option of redoing medicals or leave before your medicals expires....

Looking at 2012 spreadsheet, applicants applied in July 2nd week 2012 got visa in January last week 2013 !!

that was so 2012...and it was before the joke of the year called 'visa officers strike' since then everything has been piling up...not sure if they cleared all the back logs....things have slowed down since the strike

someone sent me PM asking how to get originals back (birth certificates)? they sent him/her shiny visa but no originals..any idea other then calling or writing to NDVO?

Hi Chinnmaye, I appreciate your concern, and I have ordered the notes once and it has given us the news of "Interview is required". Now, it's just waiting to see when they'll contact us with an interview date?

Up to now, my wife has not received any notice for a ppr. I had paid the landing fee requirements long ago, even before getting any notice.
