1) Application recieved on July 16.
2) Medical Results recevied.

hey... i received my sponsorship approval letter yesterday through mail. it was approved on 8th january.. bloody took 7 days to arrive.
anyways how long does papers take to reach delhi and do they send a AOR as well or just PPR?

First of all, Congrats!!!
Your file gets transferred to the visa office on the same day as sponsor approval and yes it does take some time in the mail. They call it snail mail for that reason
When NDVO sends the PPR, that can be thought of as AOR because they acknowledge that they have gotten your file and want to add your passport to the pile because it was missing.

MP stands for Member of Parliament in Canada and he/she can give you summary status of your application

To contact your MP, go to
http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseofCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC
and type your postal code. It will give you all the info you need

If they have given 60days for additional documents it means they won't touch the file for 60 days????

It won't be that Long. I think they have touched your file already.. And June applications have been touched not stared in full swing but next week will be showering news of June + the other past months/year applicants too

Means a diplomat in canada? do they get into all this stuff as well? on what stages do we contact them? could you please explain about the procedure.
Sorry this was little surprising for me. So i just asked too many questions.

You keep a track on the forum for the month applications going on.. And accordingly if you think your's is taking a bit longer calculating the stats then go to MP who contact NDVO and check the status of the file.

Not sure if all MP's are doing their job right sometimes they come up with a standard reply like for others..

There are still 15 applicants in May that either just passport sent or waiting for PPR.

Hi Myrah., We got our GCMS notes results. It shows Eligibility and criminality is Passed and Interview Waived. Thank GOD. These are all done before november 27th, 2013. That means they have not worked on my file after the status has changed to In Process. Under MEDICAL its showing "Pending medical results" What does that mean? Im worried whether they received my medical results at New Delhi? I think they have not. ??? ??? Security is BLANK. In first GCMS it was Not Started. But now its not showing anything (blank). It will be beneficial to do an MP Enquiry, right? especially to know what happened to my medical results..?

Great check your ecas does it says medical recevied?

no...they should be paying you for helping them with public relations campaign....they do so they can show their constituents that they are helping them and hope constituents would vote them back to office

What's your last location of your file? And what due date?security is blank means done if it's not started then it means it's not touched don't worry
I think u are done suddenly u will get medical updated n then dmget ready for visa any day if u don't get it this week Monday go to mp she will mail tell her the issue u got notes etc all passed but no Medicals u can give her the copy of medical receipt she will attach it with the mail n send it to new delhi

Hi myrah, I did mp enquiry on 9th jan but still I didn't get any reply from them.. should I enquire again or wait for their response. ..it's been more then a week now...
