yea if i don't see file moved to new Delhi i will knock on nenshi's door

You in Calgary too? Knocking on his door is not going to help, he cannot help in this matter

Wow 7-8 months that really really long time. i thought i received medical received so fast that everything else will move fast as well.

Yeah, everything up to the passport request moves fast, then it slows right down to the point of stopping. That's when the waiting game begins, we're in it for the long haul my friend

Is there any time limit to approach MP enquiry after submitting application .

no time limit but expect to hear from most MPs these golden words 'file is within processing times so wait until blah blah date and contact us then'...frankly you just applied..unless if you did not get passport request, it may not be useful to contact MPs at this stage (not that it was useful at any stage)..having stated my cynical statement, there are MPS who really investigate and dig in to find the real status of your file...

Hello everyone, :)
I applied for my wife from Canada in Nov and application received came up on CIC on Nov 21st and jan 6 showed medical results have been received.
Q1. Anyone here who applied in Nov.
Q2. Anyone knows how long it is taking now a days.

What is going to happen next and the timeline written on CIC is that accurate or depends on case by case basis

overall it takes about 8-10 months after file transfer but in some cases it has taken more than a year...timeline is just an average processing time but there are exceptions. One lucky forum member got visa in six months and some unlucky ones are still waiting for more than a year for an interview date or to hear anything from ND visa office. If you see people who applied later than you getting status changed then it is time for calls to your Canadian MP; order notes; emails to visa office; hunger strike in front of New Delhi visa office...

with ND visa office nothing is set in stone (not like ten commandments); bunch of crazy people work there whose work ethic is worse than any other government offices; it is possible things could move fast for you but in general don't expect any status change for another 6 months at least..so sit back and relax and hope it won't be a bumpy ride for you

based on Myrah's spreadsheet, few of them have/had interviews before medicals expire (RJ170 meds done 16th Feb 2013 interview 20 Feb 2014rani 2728 meds done 3Jan 2013 interview 21st Jan 2014) others aniska; drills; PJP; magassess all had interviews after medicals expired...it all depends on availability of visa officers for interviewing...

yes they called me around 11 am..........and all the best mp will definitely help u :) good luck for dm now...just a few more days now :)

Hi Myrah., We got our GCMS notes results. It shows Eligibility and criminality is Passed and Interview Waived. Thank GOD. :) :) These are all done before november 27th, 2013. That means they have not worked on my file after the status has changed to In Process. :o :o :o Under MEDICAL its showing "Pending medical results" What does that mean? Im worried whether they received my medical results at New Delhi? I think they have not. :( :( :( ??? ??? Security is BLANK. In first GCMS it was Not Started. But now its not showing anything (blank). It will be beneficial to do an MP Enquiry, right? especially to know what happened to my medical results..?
