Yes that's the reason coz they must have found out.... Just make sure u can explain to them why u didn't write this part in the application ..... Only if they ask u then only

That could be the reason for interview, if they ask you about it tell them the truth that you forgot to mention it, they would already have it on their system. Did u apply on ur own? or thru lawyer? Nevertheless, take all proofs specially post marriage proofs like emails, pics, chats, any trip which ur spouse might have made after applying. 1 of my friends hubby too was refused 2 times student visa and they had mentioned it on the application, but he was still called for interview. I dont know if their interview is complete, will let u know once she lets me know.

i just order gcms notes. will I get confirmation and receipt of payment

If u applied online then you should get an confirmation email with receipt & a request number. If u haven't received it wait to see if ur credit card is charged n once u see the charge email ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca & include the credit card authorization#, they will email u back with instructions.

think about any other red flags that might have been the reason for interview..I don't remember the forms..was there a question about any visa refusals? just tell them it was a honest mistake on your part. I don't think it would have an adverse affect on your case but if someone who had received their visas in spite of mistakes maybe they can answer your question. I think this one does not come under misrepresentation but omission on your part.

If notes gives you the reason for interview may be you should order one..

It is hard to figure out why one gets an interview..one of my friends applied twice for visitor's visa and was refused twice but he explained in his cover letter that he desperately wanted to see his wife since she could not come to India and he was not called for an interview..it is easier to explain UFOs and mysterious happenings in a haunted house than explain the reason as to why one was called for an interview

Dont worry, just stay positive & focus on ur relationship proofs. Ask d copy of forms applied frm lawyer if u dont have already and remember the dates of events. Order GCMS notes if haven't applied, in the notes section the VO writes what he/she is concerned about, so u'll get an idea why they are having an interview. The notes are very helpful, u/ur spouse can apply them on ur own, dont need lawyer for that.
My friend is in India, I guess for d interview, she is Oct 2012 applicant. I guess I'll hear from her once she is back.
