One question to all - I have already paid to a courier company in Kathmandu for two way service. That is Kathmandu to Delhi and Delhi to Kathmandu after visa issuance. Do u think they ask for "Address Request" in this case?

My wife got visa. The entire process took me around 8 months and few days.

Medical done - prior filing to missisauga {do not remeber - last week of jan, or first week of feb }
Application Filed to Missisauga - do not remember
Received my Missusauga - 5th Feb 2012
AOR - do not remember
Forwarded to NDVO - 21 Feb 2012
Passport Request - 9 March
Passport Received by NDVO - 14 March

Big Strike of PAFSO

Address Request - Aug, do not remember exact date
In Process since - Aug 23

Visa Issued - Sept. 27 (i came to know after looking the passport)
Passport Dispatched - October 1
Decision Made - October 2.

Passport Collected October 3

Congratulations, hopefully you can arrange for your wife to land in Canada before the anniversary.

in my gcms notes on page no 15 it is:

ITEM: PASSPORT/ TRAVEL DOCUMENT
STATUS: requested

chk ur gcms nd update us

On page 16 - incoming - items: passport/ travel document - status: not started

Seems like they have not yet made PPR request
Will wait for couple weeks and then contact MP

In my case when I received my GCMS notes only medicals were passed, security/background were not started. After 10 days my wife received her PP with Visa.

Meanwhile e-cas was application/medicals received.
So from App/Medicals received, I received the PP with the Visa and same day, e-cas was updated with
- they started processing on Sep 18
-Decision was made on Sept 18
-Officer will contact blah blah...

So you can expect your PP anytime if u see in-process
All the best buddy...

And yes, I'm going to India and we will come back to Canada together

So after filling the application, how can he send it to me? through e mail or post? and is it enough that i sign the consent and send a scanned copy? please explain the process.

hey -- i am here only. Actly going back to Delhi tom so juz meeting all my frenz and family before leaving. As if i get my pp back in Oct thn will not be coming back to Jalandhar before leaving. So juz meeting everyone and getting emotional lol.

Hey guys, my case is little diffrent. I don knw if any of you can give any suggestions.
My wife was in canada before our marriage as student for 3 years, than her study permit expired and she applied for extension within 90 days restroration time. But we came to india to get married before any decision on that application. So after our marriage, restoration file got refused and they advised her to leave canada asap(no deportation orders), but we contacted cic and told them that she was alrdy in india before that decision.
Than we tried for visitor visa just for sake of it, that got refused too (prety well understandable)
Than i applied for her as a spouse in june. And we mentioned about all the previous refusals in the applications.

Any views about this plz..

You can fill out the form, sign n date.. Scan it and send it to yr spouse... Your spouse can print that out and sign n date ... Scan again and attach it in the application...

today is friday be rdy for d blast of DMs inshallah... mein ne dream dekha k mujhe ek regstrd post aya jisme me mera passport hai wid shiny visa i was sooooooooo happy n jab dekha toh ek khwb tha huh.. but inshallah jald pura hoga....

only GOD n NDVO knws hw they work hw they issue visa its just to discusss abt thr work coz unhi k haath me sab hai we just hav to WAIT

God is confused after talking to NDVO since NDVO told God that it is all random, some files disappear and miraculously reappear, some files are processed after the normal processing period...GOD is on vacation after talking to NDVO..couldn't handle the stress

my application was transferred in June..since then still waiting for passport request..GCMS says 'nothing started'
