I applied for my 1st GCMS notes and I received it today!!

Recommendation: Passed
Interview: Waived
Security, Criminality: Not Started
Status: In Progress

I missed the PPR email, they requested for my passport on Mar 16, 2013. They called on Aug 6, 2013 to send the passport. Ecas shows application Received.

Heck ya, we have a right to come to Canada, USA and South America. You are right. As I remember, Christopher Columbus was looking for India and came to America and called it India. Even the Natives are called Indians. So basically it's our second home, our home away from home. Lol

Hello Everyone,

Well I got married on April 10th, 2013 and it took us a bit of time to gather all necessary documents etc. Anyway my husband who is PR of Canada has sent my spouse visa application forms n everythin along with necessary docs and proofs of our relationship on 14th Sep, 2013. We are now waiting to hear from them in regards of our file number etc. I have no idea how much time it will take , because we are not sure if the strike has ended or not.

if u see gupta's notes also nothing was touched and his wife got visa....I guess coz of strike and that dry 2 months we had actually no wwork was done....

Webster dictionary defines insanity as 'severe mental illness' or 'something that is foolish or unreasonable' and gives example "NDVO process of visa applications is insane' (ok..I made the example up)....so I assume gupta ordered notes after 6 months into the process and the notes was showing nothing started...so i cannot rely on ecas or notes (maybe NDVO guys should explain about this insanity) so what do I rely on? monkeys pulling out a card that says 'yes visa granted' or 'no visa granted'? no insult to monkeys..nothing personal

all I can say is wait for your turn .....let april ppl start getting visa's then u can expect may to start........and maybe if u join the fb grp if your stars are right ....maybe maybe u can get visa sooner ...with all our blessings hahahahah....sorry ya jokes apart........all I know is that I never had any patience...but thx to this waiting game all I have is patience now....destiny and luck my friend...

welcome to the forum.....currently they are working on applications received on August 26, 2013 and processing times is 23 days..........u shld get your aor pretty soon now.....and the useless strike is still goin on....so if u have any delay its coz of that....good luck and don't worry stage 1 is pretty fast

lol oh I though that BTW is in the file. OMG, I'm embarrassed. Aug 14, 2013 is the last notes date, which says that they have received my passport. Actually I missed my passport request back in March 16.
